I recently refurbished a Pentax Spotamatic SP2 I bought a kit with the Spotmatic it included a number of Takumar lenses with original metal lens hoods. The Spotmatic needed new light seals and I replaced them with $ 8.00 in supplies from Walmart. The first roll of film I shot with camera all the pictures came out and they were properly exposed and in focus . I perfer a full frame 35mm camera with interchangeable lenses over the new Pentax 17 half frame film camera
Finding one of these film cameras is on my thrifting bingo card this year! Totally agree on the frustration of not having control of the focus and lighting with disposables. And there’s nothing like holding a physical photo 🥹
