I just love it when farmers run a certain brand all there lives and when they demo other brands not just bash the other brand like other people do. Great vid
Excellent explanation of why you ditch. Have seen it before but never understood why you do it. Cleaning the shop, well done. Beau is the perfect guy to organize that steel. What a mess before, what an organized mess after.
We have 3 S790 combines various front wheel assist tractors. Self propelled spray etc. everything Deere except we have two 620 case-ih quads. We absolutely love them. We used to have Deere articulated tractors. And these case tractors burn less fuel and pull harder pulling bigger implements. We definitely enjoy them snd have had no trouble. But we have not tried the new Deere track tractors vs our quads though.
It was very refreshing to hear a farmer say nice things about a piece of equipment. Whatever the color. It seems some are diehard green or red and talk bad about the other. Truthfully I did not expect to hear a fair review, but you did.
Either or, the green or the red are very good tractors. If i had a choice after running deere and case i would pick case any day. Maybe not the same cab as the deere cab but very quiet and big and the case can pull more in my experience. Like i said just my experience.
i run red green and blue nothing wrong with having options if green is good on one thing and red is better on another the color shouldn't matter plus if you have mixed equipment these dealers tend to go down on their knees and start kissing to get all your business the cost is huge might as well have the best in each category wish you the best no matter what you choose Good luck
Alot of great information Hollywood, greatly appreciated, that crary ditcher will throw the dirt, spreads it nice too moving it seemed, thanks for sharing, enjoyed the case review, a lot of great information on the machine, thanks again for sharing 🇺🇲✊🤙👍💪
Informative information here about ditching never seen this tool before coming in very handy growing up a kid on a farm in Nebraska when we had a few ditches to clean out and or make the last, but not least great drone footage!
I can vouch for the green farm brother in law has one red case IH 620 on it. . It’s a workhorse compared to the 620 RX that he also has both beautiful machine
I work for a small trucking company and we had six semis multi axle trailers you were going vacation for a week and come back back and your truck would still have 80 lb of air exclamation point
Great video. Thanks Mark for the review on the Quadtrac. A lot of times it comes down to personal preference and dealer support. Was wondering what width is your Salford 5200? Take care to all.
Hi Mark from Perth,Western Australia great video and Go Red Can you organise an in depth video about Steph please but it doesn't matter if Dana does not feature. It would be good to know the total acres you guys farm but it seems you farmers over there don't like talking about the size of your operations. On a different topic what does Steve have in that fucken big trailer that is in your shed Like your work and I look forward to many more Graham
It's throw over.. when we Kwik till we only go 2 inches deep the first pass so everything seems to germinate especially when we get some rain right after. It's not as thick as it looks. But we use it kind of as a cover crop and work it right before freeze up.
i only have 1 thing about the deere the bugs the piss out of me and that is the hyd remote levers tucked down in the console like they do compared to the IH tractors
I assume you are ditching in winter wheat. Does the wheat come up through the dirt you throw out? Looks pretty thick layer in places. Now to be fair you will have to demo a new model Deere.
Your testing that new read, then test the 830hp quad and that hose power could get to 9 something think it was around 950hp. Watch second to last think mr.millenielle Zack southern mn. One of his last videos a rep was talking about the max horsepower also can weigh it down to total gross of 80,000 pounds.
That new quad is fealty nice , did notice the transmission you don't seem to realize john deer has corrected the quad shift issues as well as shift skipping gears like case does . Don't think you could go wrong eather way . $ cost is not good for farmers. I don't know how they can afford anything new ! I do like how you explain everything.
they should of brought out a new model steiger. titan has a sale on inventoried new tractors, going on now, bounty for other brand tractors. Big discounts.
Wouldn’t shock me to see you guys go red. The red dealer is quite a bit closer than trf, Kennedy, Warren, baudette. For us in fisher we have 2 jd and case dealers within 30 mins from us. 6 Deere dealers within 45 mins - an hour
How often to you have to replace batteries? If it's often enough that it's an issue having them up high maybe you should think about why your JD's go through so many batteries.
We had 2 600 quads. They are twin turbos. I work for the guy that had them, he wasn't happy with them because they were starting to have issues. Turbo problem one one, def problems until we deleted them hydraulic hoses blowing apart. They were getting hours on them and that might have added to the issues. I ran each one and I really liked the throttle and shifting all in your hand. They aren't near as quiet and they was rougher riding going down the road. He traded them for deeres. 9620rx and 9rx590. We also had a 470 narrow track and replaced that with a 8r410. All green now except for our 870 ripper. It don't matter what color they all break down eventually! And with all the technology ya can't fix most of the problems. We're down by albert lea and I think we'll start beans late this week. Have a safe and good harvest!
Having worked for john deere for 18 years then got let go even though have exceeds expectations for many of those years. john deere has went the way of DEI and is sending all the jobs that is possible to outside the US. john may has been caught saying many times that he will replace all the US jobs with either robots or off shore. MY VOTE IS RUN FROM john deere
I just love it when farmers run a certain brand all there lives and when they demo other brands not just bash the other brand like other people do. Great vid
I am sure that Bryan Steiger would be happy to sell you a new Toreq scraper for digging ditches!😁

That equipment is well tested before it is sold. The manufacturer knows exactly what it is capable of.
See you again after 1 week 😊
Reeli liked your opinion in too a different brand of tractor (fuc…… awesome ) 👏👍🇳🇴

Nice camper and hauler
Great visuals and drone work on the water furrows and field ditches.
There is a vent right behide the seat also...
Those ditching machines are the bomb. Watched Ivers farms do it last year and they loved it.
Well done! Look forward to seeing your videos. Love ya. Stay safe.
Case IH Come On Down
Informative information here about ditching never seen this tool before coming in very handy growing up a kid on a farm in Nebraska when we had a few ditches to clean out and or make the last, but not least great drone footage!
Please get a Red one! ❤
I don’t think I have seen that before. That ditcher is quite a machine. Down here in southwest Minnesota the farmers use tile.
I like hearing the Pete’s coming by on 12! Hit the Jake once in awhile!😁😉
Great video, thanks for you time
Nice video! How is the coating on the shop floor holding up?
I can vouch for the green farm brother in law has one red case IH 620 on it. . It’s a workhorse compared to the 620 RX that he also has both beautiful machine
Thanks for the great video very interesting video keep up the great work you do on your family's farm
I work for a small trucking company and we had six semis multi axle trailers you were going vacation for a week and come back back and your truck would still have 80 lb of air exclamation point
I think you folks should trade for the new tractor !
The dealer/factory support is always a factor. The scrap pile is always a battle between saving and getting rid of stuff.
Very well said sod buster
Nice Vid!
Your operation just mind boggling, as far north as you are, mind numbing expenses, still staying sane and profitable!! Wow!!
Farmers are rich. My boss takes in 350k off 144 acres. They have no problems. Oh, and he has another 1500 acres of just spuds. Easy money
Great video. Thanks Mark for the review on the Quadtrac. A lot of times it comes down to personal preference and dealer support. Was wondering what width is your Salford 5200? Take care to all.
You narrowed it down to a few things to sum it up....engine ..visibility...Hydraulics....gear shifting....that's the complete tractor ?? 😂😂😂😂
Great drone images.
Thanks

Snowmobile race sleds.
The field you ditched was it cover crop planted or just header loss… kinda green. Love the content and thanks 😊

Kinda surprised Daner showed up for work with that red tractor sitting in the yard!
Which one is easier on fuel
i only have 1 thing about the deere the bugs the piss out of me and that is the hyd remote levers tucked down in the console like they do compared to the IH tractors

It's just cover crop after the wheat we harvested

It would be fun to try out a new Deere similar to this. Appreciate your comments
Is beau not part of haugen farms any longer?
When is the crane coming? Seen the bolts for it in the welding area.
One day soon... Just not hi on the list at the moment.
I thought you were going to town to get some Culver’s.
Beau look good in there. lol
they should of brought out a new model steiger. titan has a sale on inventoried new tractors, going on now, bounty for other brand tractors. Big discounts.
Price ?
bring it down to one thing ..... BUY RED
Do you have a video of a shop tour?
Yes. It’s from earlier this year.
Wouldn’t shock me to see you guys go red. The red dealer is quite a bit closer than trf, Kennedy, Warren, baudette. For us in fisher we have 2 jd and case dealers within 30 mins from us. 6 Deere dealers within 45 mins - an hour

Appreciate your comment.. but wasn't saying it was a bad spot just saying it was a little more inconvenient that's all

It seems everything goes thru batteries faster than they used to, trucks, tractors and all. I wonder if its all the computer stuff.
red most often a better engine overall . too many big green engine failures unless they habe cummins .
Just get the big Deere
That tractor is much better than the green counterfeit

What John Deere is doing is all political
