Sir does the power cable port at the back fits well? My problem with my Generic inplay is that the power cable port is a bit loose so I'll probably get this PSU if this will fix my problem. Thanks!
I bought one of these ...Inplay 750W ver. I had no gfx card at the time. Only CPU 10700 and ssd and nvme. It lasted less than 3 MONTHS ! One of the capacitors blew up and I found out about it only because I had to clean fans in my pc. It was leaking and the pc smelled horribly. It did work tho...but it wouldnt work for too long. AVOID !
Wow this video is actually well made. I bought this psu back in December and I was worried since im planning on pairing it with an rx 5500 xt but now I can sigh with relief knowing that it's kinda okay. Thanks for this informative video man.
I have this for 3 years till now, ryzen 3 3200g to ryzen 5 2600 + rx570. Previously I have silverstone SST-ST50F-ES230 500W, and it died in just 4 months, replaced it with this and just works fine.
You don't have to spend too much on your power supply. All you have to know is your total max wattage plus 20% headroom and get from a reputable brand with at least 80 plus bronze. That's all you need
This! 100% And if you're going to use a brand that's not reputable, I think it's best to just use it on an APU build at least. You'll never really know if it's good or not unless you try it but that's on the builder if they are willing to take the risk of finding out.
I'm using this PSU for half a year now, R7 5700g 16X4 3200 RAM 5 months APU only and just recently added a RX580, mainly using Adobe apps and casual gaming. works fine so far.
I still have this and currently still using for the past 3 years Again, this is a 450w unbranded PSU, you cant just go shove random high specs mobos and GPU on this The specs im currently STILL using for the past 3 years is GS450PRao AMD Athlon 200GE A320M Biostar 8GB RAM GLOMY (2x) SSD Kingston 120GB HDD Seagate 500GB GT730
Personally, I wouldn't recommend this PSU if you're going over 65W on CPU and 75W on gpu. Despite that, I'm still using it for an i3 2100 + GTX 960 (65W + 120W) build on a Frankenstein PC out of old parts but only because I have no better PSU's lying around. I'm planning to upgrade it to silverstone ST series since they're cheap and reasonable for the build, and also not an armed C4 at the same time.
For those considering, the AC power cable I got with it (I got a prebuilt unit without psu choice) is two prong that--although rare--could be risky. I got shocked by my case twice already whenever the pc was plugged and I will be back to add my findings after I upgrade my psu which will come soon. That aside, it works fine.
(This applies to current generations of generic PSU). About GS450, the sense na 80+daw siya (Im not sure if this is "Certified 80+") or follows 80+ standards, I say this is a good and a safe power supply. My friend is using this model of PSU for a year now and its all good.
Nangyari sakin boss, pumutok 700w generic psu ko pero nagamit ko sya for 3 years, walang damage na nagawa sa build ko kaya medyo kampante padin ako sa generic psu
Your comments are all valid but you missed a few. Threshold power draw from any unit should be kept at no more than 60% of rated power. Then there is ambient temperature within the unit and its heat dissipation capabilities. the objective here is if you have a lot of open space and four or more fans to move heat out of the unit, you will extend the life and operational life of all units. If however, you are in a cramped space then dissipation will be difficult and you will need a bunch of blowers to keep everyone inside the box happy.
4mins in the video, I was just wondering about True Rated for a bit coz I see it all over online catalogs/marketplace but you addressed it, well done! 😂
When it comes to PSU always invest to save any form or hassle or issues in the future, when it comes to PC building always search and check the reviews of PSU and not all 450watts and 500watts are not always accurate as there are some instances where it is running beyond or might get faulty. I've tried this PSU before didn't last that long for me when my previous build was a R5 2600X, 32GB RAM, RX 570 it ran fine for a week and then random shutdown, removed all components and isolated each parts and PSU is good as dead.
Hey 3 years from now, my Build lasted relatively well with an Inplay GS450pro. It finally died after an 8 hour gaming session. It lasted 3 years and 6 months total. I'd say that's pretty good for a budget PSU! Contrary to belief though, mine did not explode. It just started to bootloop my pc since it can't reliably deliver power anymore.

I have this PSU for 6 months now and ran into no problems at all. I have a ryzen 5 3400g and a 1660 super (I know its a bad combo, but the gpu came in late).
Ryzen 5 3400g is pretty decent, though the iGPU is wasted but the 4 cores 8 threads it offers with a 3.7 ghz or more is sufficient to run with a GTX 1660 super based on the experience of one of my friends that owns a rig like yours. 3400g is a pretty good CPU in my book.
Just to Clarify, sticker of 80+ means nothing it is easy to put it. and this PSU has no Certify in 80+ just a Sticker only. they cant see on list of Certified 80+ list. its either they have been decline in certification, not approve till now 2 years or they didnt really apply at all. Notes its already in the Website you Visited the Wikipedia that theres some misleading power supply advertisement. and as the color of 80+ for those who have experience that color is suppose to be Gold but its says bronze
Its not just aesthetics or overclocking and such, bad power supplies tend to only reach its advertised value in a 'burst' manner, while they can technically reach 500w they cannot maintain it. It may fluctuate from even less than 400w depending on how badly it is made. So please DO spend more for your power supply and even better at a reputable brand like EVGA. Just seeing the xeon cpu automatically made me not want to recomment this psu. It's a bit more power hungry than recent cpus. I wouldnt trust the inplay to power it. A reputable brand will work better for this bro.
I'm looking for this kind of review because my pc has weird buzzing noise. I did troubleshoot my pc, software and hardware. I used this kind of psu, and I found out that this indeed the culprit of that buzzing noise. Any tips? My pc is a month year old now.

Yup. Im sure. But if you plan to get a gpu soon, i would recommend at least the silverstone stf50-something(forgot the full name) Its 80+ white. If youre also in ph, check it out on lazada/shopee
With my experience, I wouldn't use this with a gpu anymore. Maybe with an igpu build Also, I got this PSU for 1400php. The silverstone in my other vid is just 1600php. For a little more, you can get a way better PSU
It's better for an igpu build but what i'd really recommend is the silverstone psu. Cause I have experience with it. And it's a psu my friend also uses. With just a few bucks more you can get it instead of this. I also doubt this inplay's bronze rating now cause of my experience with it lol
Sorry but that's not right. It should output what it israted at. If its rated at 450watts it will pull 562 watts from the wall with 80% efficiency to output 450 watts. 562 x 0.8 = 450

issues just appeared today, my display started flickering even on low load. do you have any recommendations for a similar 450w psu?
gigabyte 450
Coolermaster 500watts MWE V2
I have a i5 4570 + gtx 1050 ti, with this generic power supply of inplay gs250lk and I think it can't power the build. I plan to change my psu to this g450pro, do you think the psu it is compatible and good for my build or if not then would gs650 pro or ak700w ok?
I have Inplay 650 watts and it only takes 3months even though I have GPU just 8 rgb fans
my pre buult pc uses ome of this and 3-4 months later litterly having faulty hardware and i searched for new psu and i keep seeing this brand
Have this for my 4060, ryzen 7 5700x. Am i cooked, amigo?
Jesus Christ why the fuck would you use a unbranded 450w PSU on a 4060 and ryzen 7?????
In my case it does harm my gpu. it got short circuit. that time i do know little about power supply wattage. technician told me that i should have gotten the gs550 pro. since i'm running Ryzen 5 2600 with rx550 16gb stick ram. although when i carefully check the input of gs450 pro was just 360+watts so then technically i'm not getting enough wattage to run my build system. stupid me😅
rx 550 ? your luck is so bad. I'm running this with 2600 + 1060 3gb with tdp of 105watts and yours is 55watts. I also have 16gb ram no RGB fan.
Is this psu enough for i5-3470 with GTS 450?
Web u using to check how much Voltage need
Subbed! Underrated!
Is this good for ryzen 3 2200G and gtx 750 ti gpu?
Nice review!
my GS450pro started to act up after 3 months :( I had to buy a silverstone 600w psu because I wouldnt want to wait for my system to fry or something.
yeah at this point it doesn't really make sense to even consider this psu. It's fine for APUs. But for sure you'll upgrade along the way. I did a quick update video on this
@@droborja I just saw your video a couple of weeks ago I never knew it was a sign for my predicament 😂
@@raphaelmarcelo5503 damn. Wish I upload sooner before you even bought it. haha!
planning to buy gs650 with my specs:
ryzen 3 3200g
gtx 960
a320m a pro max mobo
8gb ram (1 stick)
500gb hdd
128gb ssd
3 fans
with my experience, i wouldn't trust this with a full set up, cpu+gpu+other components. My baseline of PSU now is the Silverstone st50f just because of my experience with it. It's been reliable for me so far
I have a i5 7500 16gb ram rx 570 4gb/rx 580 4gb 256 ssd and 2 hdd what psu should i get the Inplay GS450PRO or The Silverstone 500w?
Get the Silverstone 500w according to the author His GS450PRO starting to get faulty.
You've got great quality vid making, add up some BGM at appropriate level and you'll be Golden in no time.
Testing your system at full load to test PSU is a good way but builds are different in each other
Yes. Totally agree. Nothing is one-size-fits-all in pc building. What worked for some dude might not work for you.
I have this power supply but now it can't be open
I have this on my r74g. All good in da hood since APU but if you have graphic card don't use fis
How about YGT brand? do you recommend it?
I have no experience with it but it's a brand that the pc shop near me sells. Never heard any of their customer complained about ygt.
how about inplay gs series 600watts?
just use multi meter. then check it underload.
Planning to buy GS600 powersupply with rgb fan by Inplay for 1500pesos (30$)

4 fan in my pc idk if thats counted
Is it ok to use im using my rig for mid gaming like gta v valo and pubg steam im also using it for College staff
Owner as well of the same psu model. I guess it'll still work since your parts aren't that power hungry. I bought it at around 1800 php but still same stuff. I guess wouldn't recommend for very long term use, pero pag pansamantala lang muna for future upgrade, pwede naman.
I just finished building my pc today with this PSU, when I turn my PC on it's so loud, does anyone else experience loud noise when using this PSU? I tried checking if it was my cooler/fans/gpu but the sound still happened everytime I turn on my pc, anyone know how to fix loud PSU?
this happened to me after using this thing for only about a couple of months or so . had no way of fixing it for me other than buying a brand new one 🙃
okay lang po ba ito sa amd athlon 200ge?
Kayang kaya po yan sir
What's the specs of your little brother's pc?
Question: Does my build works fine with Gs450pro psu? Newbie here..
My specs
Cpu-intel xeon x3430
Mobo-h55m
Gpu-Gtx 660
Ram-8gb ddr3
Hdd-240gb
2 case fans
Just seeing the xeon cpu automatically made me not want to recomment this psu. It's a bit more power hungry than recent cpus. I wouldnt trust the inplay to power it. A reputable brand will work better for this bro.
hello good day po okay poba yung awake intelligent na psu?
may I know the dimensions of this psu? I can't find the full specs anywhere
Its full atx i believe
is gs450 safe on gtx 650ti? i need your reply bro
Go with at least a silverstone st55gs instead
I'm looking for this kind of review because my pc has weird buzzing noise. I did troubleshoot my pc, software and hardware. I used this kind of psu, and I found out that this indeed the culprit of that buzzing noise. Any tips? My pc is a month year old now.
We havr the same problem and my gs450 is dead i also hear that buzzing noise to my gs450 and and my gs450 last only for 1year
what's your pc specs?
Gigabyte GA A320M S2H V2 AM4
Athlon 3000g

What do you think sir...
This psu will fit so well with this
@@ryuandme Actually I already complete this set up, as you said it fits so well... very good performance
since im going to upgrade my gpu to gtx 1050ti or gtx 1630, I think this power supply is enough and safe.
Dont. Go for a reputable brand at least. I'll only use this psu if im going for an apu build
Wag mo tipirin psu mo nyeta. Kahit deepcool goods na mura pa
Mamili kayo short budjet lang ninyo 1k power supply pero short talaga budjet bibili ka ba ng second hand na vs 450 na corsair or second hand ng cooler master psu but di mo sure gaano katagal nang ginamit o etong brand new na psu yes very cheap at di kasing kalidad ng mga branded but yun lang pera mo eh bakit mo ipipilit yung mahal na psu kung di mo naman talaga kaya.
Question bro,
Athlon 200ge (igpu)
Gigabyte a320m s2h mobo
8gb ram ddr4
240gb ssd
5 rgb fans
Does this inplay psu enough for my build?
Thanks in advance!
Yup. Im sure. But if you plan to get a gpu soon, i would recommend at least the silverstone stf50-something(forgot the full name)
Its 80+ white. If youre also in ph, check it out on lazada/shopee
Thank you for the information sir.
Are you still using this PSU?
boss can u check out the intelligent awake brand?

Do you think this enough for a R 3 2200g with an Rx 470?
With my experience, I wouldn't use this with a gpu anymore. Maybe with an igpu build
Also, I got this PSU for 1400php. The silverstone in my other vid is just 1600php. For a little more, you can get a way better PSU
@@droborja does the Silverstone one guarantees it wont pop with a dedicated gpu? Also what does 80 plus 230v mean why isn't it labelled as bronze ?
Is this recommended? I'm planning to build Ryzen 3 3200g no gpu :)
It's better for an igpu build but what i'd really recommend is the silverstone psu. Cause I have experience with it. And it's a psu my friend also uses.
With just a few bucks more you can get it instead of this. I also doubt this inplay's bronze rating now cause of my experience with it lol
@@droborja tysm bro that really helps
450 watts 80% =
450 x 0.8 = 360
360 watts
That's the meaning of 80+ rating i think
Lol
same idea. 80% efficiency when its going to be older so ang mga rig na may 1650 or 1050ti will still be safe if the psu goes old.
Sorry but that's not right. It should output what it israted at. If its rated at 450watts it will pull 562 watts from the wall with 80% efficiency to output 450 watts.
562 x 0.8 = 450
I have this one with gtx 1060 3gb and ryzen 5 2600 + 2x 8gb ram and 2 RGB fan. ok na ok sya 1.5years. And kakaupgrade last two months.
boss pag pag auto shutdown pag gaming palit psu na? almost 5 years nadin kasi generic lang. i3 6100 at 1050ti ssd 240 8 gig ram lang rig ko 450 yung power supply tiger power. last month ok naman. ngayun auto shutdown na.
Ok po ba yung gs450pro sa :
Ryzen 3400g
Steel legend b450m
8x2 ddr4 ram
4 rgb fans
128 m.2
Actually, for builds na much latest yung mga parts, mas okay pang mag Silverstone stf50 at least. Especially since di nmn nagkakalayo ang price nila. Although 80+ white lang sya, mas sure bet ka nmn na kung paano sya inaadvertise, ganon talaga sya. May tiwala ako sa Silverstone.
I'll trust this inplay only with an athlon build base sa experience ko. Kasi running padin yung pc ng GF ko with no issues. Athlon sya na gs450pro ang psu.
how to check if the psu is really 80 bronze certified?
check it here, it's not listed. it's certification is fake
