Beautiful video. There are many organized EBC treks for the socialites from big cities who just want to get to EBC, take a few photos and fly back. The more adventurous of them will walk up to EBC and fly out. Good for them because they invested in the hike. Most of the helicopters you are seeing are for that reason. A few of them are for emergency rescue. If you are healthy and acclimatized well you should be ok in Dingboche. The trouble starts at Lobuche and Gorakhshep. The death zone is bove 8000 meters or Everest camp 4/south col. Please don't scare people out of the Everest base camp trek which can be done by pretty much anyone with determination.
@@NITBAN @NITBAN yes. That's a good idea of people who afford Helicopter services to reach directly to EBC or Lobuche. Though I have started my Trek right from the Jiri I felt very much suffocation after reaching Thukla. Reaching EBC was not so easy for me.
@@krajesh6828 I was lucky not to have altitude sickness or AMS(acute mountain sickness). Lobuche to Gorakhshep was tough for me mostly because I didn't have a large breakfast, running low on energy and crossing the boulder field was difficult. Once I reached Gorakhshep I was hungry and had 2 plates of dalbhat and the hike to EBC was pretty easy.
