FYI My master cylinder doesn't require a bench bleeding kit. My instructions say to secure the master cylinder in a vise "firmly clamping the mounting flange on the casting. DO NOT CLAMP THE BORE AREA OF THE CYLINDER! DISTORTION OF THE BORE CYLINDER WILL OCCUR!" Also mine didn't come with the plastic tubes, only threaded plugs. And it said to only depress the piston no more than an inch and to wait 15 seconds between presses. I'm learning that these videos are great but no substitute for reading the instructions that come with your specific part. Thanks for the video!
I got a new master cylinder for my 04 Wrangler TJ reservoir and the bleeders. it was very reasonably try and it didn't take very long to get here. Google/Amazon it they're out there. Side note: I was cracking up because you're struggling to get the reservoir off. Then suddenly you had the reservoir in your hands. I look over, see the cylinder in the vise. I thought it was kind of funny. Looked mildly brutal.
Great video. Clear instructions!
Thanks!

Other "how-to" video producers need to watch yours and see how it's done.
Thanks!

do you do any mazda videos? could really use some help with mine
Well done mate very helpful .. GBU.
Great you did good
What year is your truck?
How did you empty your break fluid?
Siphoned as much as I could with a fluid pump. You can also use a turkey baster
relativly the same for a zj?
There's no shortcuts when bleeding the brakes. Safety first.
Thanks have a 99 jeep grand cherokee Laredo doing the very same thing sounds like a snake under the dash!!! Glad its not!
Sound like a snake bet it was your brake booster and not your master cylinder right ?
