The hiring manager for this police department needs to be looked into. Pessina was obviously not fit to be a cop, yet they hired him. Makes me think the whole department is rotten.
WOW what a story! Very well explained aswell. This could be made into a movie. Life lesson: you can't play both side of the fence, either you are a police officer or a gang member. This individual learned that the hard way

He was a sacrificial lamb or a small fry in something much more complex. Made the public believe the department wasn't involved (just him) which is laughable but that's what sacrificial lambs are for...
this has to be one of the best channels on UA-cam, so meticulous in research, well spoken, what i find shocking is how little loyalty these so called carnals have to each other, they have no loyalty, just murder each other, why would anyone join this gang?
It's a sadly vicious cycle. I live a few miles away from Balcones Heights and what I can tell you is that these kinds of guys have the most kids with the most women, and these women are pathetic. The men raise their young boys to grow up to be just like them, and these poor little boys don't know any better, and then they have kids, and so on... It's sad and it will never end.
The mafia is just like how they are portrayed in the movies. They will kill each other for power, silence witnesses, or simply because they believe you are a snitch. Great video. Netflix definitely needs to make a docu series on this guy.
I don't quite understand this. Why would this dude lie about being in prison when they clearly could check his background and find out that not only was he never incarcerated but actually a corrections officer and current cop!?! Nobody vouched when he said he was an old member also. He was insane and the agency that hired him was also.
Thanks for the breakdown on this video... Born and raised here in San Antonio Texas the Mexican Mafia is known here and what comes with that kind of lifestyle... Well done! I'm interested in true crime stories and I've watched many videos on the subject. Yours are definitely among the most interesting and informative I've seen. To me, the ideal balance between story telling and delivering facts is a delicate one. Too heavy on the facts can get boring. But too much story without factual evidence makes me skeptical that I'm getting the whole truth. This video presents a great balance of the two. It holds my attention while presenting hard evidence to show it's not just an opinion piece. Very entertaining and informative. I hope you have success and continue to offer these kinds of compelling narratives.
Gabe Morales, featured in this fantastic video, has his own UA-cam channel called gangsters, cops, and politicians. He's unbelievably knowledgeable. His channel is great, as is this one...
This is extremely common to have people or family become law enforcement to infiltrate a department to have “ an inside man “ to influence the outcome of that gangs crimes etc .. every gang / organized crime syndicate does this all over the world .

I live in San Antonio and it's crazy because Balcones Heights is one of the hottest areas of the city and this guy was selling cream and being a cop and a member of the Mexican Mafia at the same damn time there.
Judge did not send a message for refusing to punish the killers for killing a crooked cop…. Pessina was not on duty and not acting in the capacities of an officer at the time of his death. So it’s not that he refused to punish the killer of a cop or crooked cop, it’s that he could not punish the killer of a cop. The cop was not acting as a cop at the time because he was off duty. If the judge had decided to punish with the maximum amount for killing a police officer, they would have been thrown out in appellate court.
From the 90s to early 2000s the " Eme" ( Mexican Mafia) ruled the Texas prison systems. Thier arch enemy was TS ( Texas syndicate) and there would be killings weekly in there. They warred for over a decade until the early 2000s the Tango Blast was formed ( Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Austin) which was created for Mexicans and Tejanos who didn't want to join a " family" The Tangos were huge and eventually ran out all the TS from every Texas unit. It was a wild time....
LETS GOOOOOO!!! This was the best video yet! Almost 30 mins and exciting all the way through. Always look forward to these videos. Almost broke my fingers trying to play the video lol. Keep up the EXCELLENT work!
Dealt with the Mexican Mafia and other gangs when I worked as a CO at Leavenworth in the 80s. They were allied with the Aryan Brotherhood and the prison had a “peace treaty” with the DC Blacks and Black Muslim groups. At that time the “rackets” were divided by race, and disputes settled by a committee of the various factions. Don’t know how it is now, other than federal prisons have become much more violent and dangerous today, than they were in that earlier era.
The mafia is dismantling lossing power, just as other big organizations, I dont even think the syndicate exist anymore, I migh be wrong...but for the federal prisons, the Paisas 16 are running things now.
I hope you know a couple of the pictures you posted like at 4:31 is from a movie called American Me about the Mexican Mafia. The guy kneeling at the bottom right is Edward James Olmos.
I live in the culebra park neighborhood and in the 90s, it was considered a stronghold due to the eme and “culebra park klan” associating with each other. I remember herbie huertas mother used to live a few houses down from mine and there would so much activity happening. The “Chassaigne” brothers , three brothers that were very ruthless also lived near me, and they had a whole network in the neighborhood. The 90s was a crazy time for our neighborhood

Yeah, San Antonio is a strange city. For a top 15 city in the US, we only have one major sports team (Spurs). Not a lot of high buildings and has HUGE land area. I saw the thumbnail and started to cry. I grew up with this man and his kids. Uncle Julian me and my siblings and I called him. Him and my dad were cops in balcony heights and I remember asking my dad why uncle Julian doesn't come around anymore and he wouldn't tell me. Last time we saw him we were getting snow cones at a little snow cone shop right outside of his tattoo parlor. I remember we went to the pool and uncle Julian had a tattoo on his back of a naked woman and he said " you looking at titties boy?" And my brother and I started laughing and jumping on him and he would pick us up and throw us around the pool. This shit literally breaks my heart I had no idea this happened. Rip uncle Julian idc what you did you're still my uncle.12:17 is a pic of Julian with my dad (far left) and my dad's other cop buddy ( far right) uncle Anthony at a bar. Damn dude this shit makes me so sad. Rip uncle Julian.
I'm sure he was good to you but you have to consider all the people he hurt and how he contributed to the deaths/murders of others (directly or indirectly). It's an overused example but I'm sure Hitler seemed a good guy to his family and friends. It's too bad he decided to take this path and dance with the devil. Life could have had much better things for him (and those around him) if he didn't make that choice. Irregardless I'm sorry that you had that experience because I can still imagine it's hard figure out how to feel about it.
Only 115k subs is the real crime. I’ve seen numerous comments, on other channels saying you should do a collab with swamp stories (and other gang tuber historians, etc.). However, I think it would just dilute your content and reputation. Unlike other true crime gang content creators, your videos are well researched, and your videos focus more on the facts of the case, instead of illogical theories, hearsay, hysteria, etc. TLDR: your videos are more of a historical archive. You present the facts of the case, and back it up with court transcripts, and contemporary new reports (you stray away from shutter stock images, etc). Killer chronicles is more of a ‘pop culture’ setup.
I live here in Northwest SA. I’ve always had this thing where the moment my friends brought someone new around, I knew right then and there if they were to be trusted or not. And no matter how long it took for others to see, I always ended up being right about these individuals. I have a dark past with the people I used to hang with. Most of them are dead or in prison. I strayed from getting involved in anybody’s business and it saved me from possibly the same fate as them. Anyway, SA is a rowdy city Fr

Typical police officer
This is an example of most cities in America, and people still swear there are “good cops” smfh all 🐷 are dirty all of em
He got used in wackenhut here in San Antonio that's was the federal facility and his dumbass just took it from there and look what happened.
He had an overdose of arrogance
i remember this guys police chief sticking up for him, going as far to call other officers on the force who complained about him "pretty boys" who didn't like his tattoos. I always thought the police chief should have been investigated for possible links to the gangs.
Lol the guy who was the police chief is now on city council in my town 😂 foolishness

The hiring manager for this police department needs to be looked into. Pessina was obviously not fit to be a cop, yet they hired him. Makes me think the whole department is rotten.
@Jimmy Greens Yeah. I live under a rock, so what?
@Jimmy Greens I suppose it's very naïve of me to expect our government agencies to not be corrupt, but oh well.
I think most cop depts are like that . They steal for the government, so why wouldn’t they be rotten ?
all of sapd needs to be looked into
He didn’t even work for sapd. But bhpd shouldn’t even be around any more either so corrupt as a police department.
WOW what a story! Very well explained aswell. This could be made into a movie. Life lesson: you can't play both side of the fence, either you are a police officer or a gang member. This individual learned that the hard way

this has to be one of the best channels on UA-cam, so meticulous in research, well spoken, what i find shocking is how little loyalty these so called carnals have to each other, they have no loyalty, just murder each other, why would anyone join this gang?
It's a sadly vicious cycle. I live a few miles away from Balcones Heights and what I can tell you is that these kinds of guys have the most kids with the most women, and these women are pathetic. The men raise their young boys to grow up to be just like them, and these poor little boys don't know any better, and then they have kids, and so on... It's sad and it will never end.
The sad truth baby
You either follow orders or you and your family are at risk.
He got what he deserved!
D reason is they afraid to go solo like u or me.
The mafia is just like how they are portrayed in the movies. They will kill each other for power, silence witnesses, or simply because they believe you are a snitch. Great video. Netflix definitely needs to make a docu series on this guy.

Don't feel bad cause he's the one that dug his own grave. This wasn't a good dude, he did some dirty deed for sure
I don't quite understand this. Why would this dude lie about being in prison when they clearly could check his background and find out that not only was he never incarcerated but actually a corrections officer and current cop!?! Nobody vouched when he said he was an old member also. He was insane and the agency that hired him was also.

Murder is murder 😅
From the 90s to early 2000s the " Eme" ( Mexican Mafia) ruled the Texas prison systems. Thier arch enemy was TS ( Texas syndicate) and there would be killings weekly in there. They warred for over a decade until the early 2000s the Tango Blast was formed ( Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Austin) which was created for Mexicans and Tejanos who didn't want to join a " family" The Tangos were huge and eventually ran out all the TS from every Texas unit. It was a wild time....

Just goes to show you that there’s no loyalty in the streets. You either get turned on by your “clique” or turn a rat against your same gang 🤷🏽♂️

Yeah, San Antonio is a strange city. For a top 15 city in the US, we only have one major sports team (Spurs). Not a lot of high buildings and has HUGE land area. Yeah I saw that. That was crazy. Regardless of who these MM guys are here in San Antonio, TX, they don't, and hardly ever go after kids. Kids are a no-no from what I heard. They accidentally hit a kid, and I heard THEY get a greenlight. It's what I heard, not know, so don't come for me. A lot of these guys leave you alone if you leave them alone. The solutions to gangs is so simple. You go to prison and never leave your cell. No exercise and no outside communications. End of problem.
