I love your content. But I disagree with how Skip used his words. There was no concern about the players health. You're right about him boosting sharps views. But thay doesn't mean it is ok. Why can it be ok for Skip to do it one way and Shannon be wrong for walking away?

Honestly for how much I hate skip, the Damar controversy with skip was so dumb. Felt like people were on him just because we already didn’t like him.
I can’t imagine Shannon actually skipped the show because of it. Had to be more either out of shock needing to take a day, for personal reasons, or he thought it would be more respectful to not talk about it & knew people would only talk about Damar.
The controversy over Skip's tweets about Damar is honestly one of the dumbest things I've seen before. It was entirely people just forming a Twitter mob for no reason.

Last year's back n forth on Baker Mayfield was hilarious. I'm glad Shannon's walking away. Seems like a genuine good dude and Skip seems entirely too abrasive both in front of the camera and off camera. That'd wear on anyone.
Shannon is one of the best if not the best sports personalities on TV. Whether I agree with his takes or not. He's never overly disrespectful and my God is he entertaining.

Skip pushed way too many times though. This wasn't the only time, just the first one we saw live. You also have to consider what we don't see on camera. Plus maybe it's just time to evolve.
It’s kind of funny because it really felt like they made up. I honestly think he’s leaving just because of contract disputes. He probably wants more money and Fox isn’t willing to give him it…. Yet. There is still a possibility that he could re-up with fox sports, but I feel like they are going to have to pay a hefty price.
Because I’ll be honest, Undisputed will definitely not be the same without Shannon. The show was basically like the classic babyface vs heel match (Shannon was always seen as the good guy while Skip was always seen as the bad guy)

Everyone who has great close friends knows that arguments happen, whether just for jokes or in actual anger and disagreement. Good friends don’t do what Skip did. A personal attack like that will ruin the trust between you. Part of being great friends is knowing each other, knowing the things you really care about and knowing the things that can be used to hurt you. When someone goes so far as to use something they know you’re vulnerable in to hurt you, it’s hard to come back from that

Shannon already had another show on FS1 without Skip. They also have other shows he could work on that would satisfy his contract. It doesn't matter what Shannon wants. To get paid under contract, he has to work. Despite all this they decided to part ways. Shannon didnt just walk away. They paid him to do so. Everyone is assuming this is just Shannon being fed up and leaving, but evidence suggests it might be more mutual than what people are saying.

Around the 10:00 minute mark… where was Skip’s apology? Because in that clip you played he never actually apologized. He said he respects Shannon, Shannon’s his toughest competition, and he love doing battle with him. But he never actually apologized.
And that’s the big problem is Skips never gave Shannon a public apology. (We can’t say what happened behind the scenes cause we don’t know), but if you’re gonna disrespect someone publicly, you should apologize publicly as well. The apology should be as loud as the disrespect was!

The dak thing flew under the radar for me but I was watching when he called sharpe jealous and my mouth literally dropped. I remember thinking sharpe is about to kill this dude when the cameras go off. You don’t say crap like that to a hall of fame player when you were never even in the league.
Both of them are extremely passionate. That’s what makes them great. But what makes them great is what broke them up in the end.
I will say one more thing, A man's name has meaning to him and Skip definitely put mud on Sharpe's name. Respect means everything especially to me and people like me, Throwing vile on his legacy was inexcusable.

Skip Bayless is just one of many sports reporters who honestly believe if they had the talent to play professional sports they would be a first ballot hall of famer winning multiple championships in the process. I agree with your take on skips comments pertaining to Hamlin. My initial thought was the same. I did not know how the NFL was going handle rescheduling games and making things fair. I know how much money and things are on the line with these games being completed. Let’s not pretend that money is not the primary focus of the NFL!
