I finally found someone who is actually good at decorating and creating beautiful spaces with a video! I'm so bummed that you are just part of the June's journey UA-cam subscription. I wish you had just your own personal UA-cam channel for all different types of decorating. Beautiful work!
I hate to sell back my decorations, but I have had to in order to progress in the game. I try to only sell back low value, always available ones. I have had to destroy my decorating scheme to have room to place new decorations to earn flowers to progress in the game. Everything requires so many resources at my level. I have cought up with game designers and have had to wait for a new chapter to be released twice now. I have found a couple of ways to get flowers without needing more room. 1. Replace train tracks with railroad crossings. I Also in the last Movie Making Seasonal Set there were several track decorations that I earned and put in place of regular track, such as film crew and damsel in distress. 2. When a new Seasonal Set appears that has items I already own, I replace the old ones with new ones which gives me flowers. I then sell the old ones if I don't really like them and I don't loose too many flowers. 3. I replace older items with newer ones with higher flower values; sometimes temporarily & sometimes permanently. For example, replacing roads, lamps, and walls. I replaced many of my roads with heart pavement and the flower edged pathway and put in a lot of flowered arches. I don't always prefer the newer decorations but I have filled up all my open islands. I have more land to open up but it costs 60 to 70 compasses for each available section right now. Yes, resources needed for things increase through out the game. For instance, in the beginning, land only cost 3 compasses. It gradually increased over time. My top tip is to build your buildings, the lighthouse, wedding chapel, pirate ship, and mountain home as quickly as possible. They give you coins and energy on a continuing basis. And completing the Aviary (when it becomes available) and breeding birds gives you flowers on a continuing basis as well. Give bushes to others as often as you can. You will earn Energy and when you get bushes in return you will get rewards. It's a good idea to leave a few spaces free (3 to 4 next to each other) on Orchid Island to receive bushes. I have tried to give bushes and couldn't because there was no place for them to go. I have also placed decorations in those places for a few minutes to open a new scene. Once the scene is open, I store the decorations. After about a year I started saving all the different bushes I received, but only 1 of each. By carefully leaving spaces open, I have managed to get all the bushed in one area. Now that we can move bushes around it is much easier to do so. One last thing, you do not need to pay real world money to succeed in June's Journey. I am almost to Level 1300 and I have only spent $4.99. I only spent that to get the Hot Air Balloon in a Memoir Album. I will admit, if I had the money, I would buy some of the decorations that are offered for sale.
I design my island as my own model village. At times i have a change round moving things to different parts of the island when i get new items i love this game
I used to concentrate on beautiful scenery but we have to buy sooo much just to play that it then becomes sooo crowded it become to full to be pretty. Decorating then doesn’t become as much fun anymore🥴
When you get your second or third island put your seasonal sets there as you cant put any decorations on the 2nd or 3rd Island if they collect coins ✌️💖
You need to be strategical in your decorating. I try not to use anything with a value below 30 🌸per square, and aim for minimum 50 🌸 per square (apart from roads). Try to change out cheaper decorations for similar, more expensive ones. One 50 🌸 decoration is worth much more than 10 decorations worth 5 🌸. Sometimes it's painful to sell decorations because you see your flower count sink but in the long run it's so worth it. Try to save up coins to buy more expensive decorations instead of buying something cheap to level up fast. If you play a lot you can save up for a 2400 🌸 decoration in a few days, it will take 6 days to build, during that time you can save up for another one. My next tip is to use Jack primarily for flowers. I only pick something else when I have a "Use 35 materials" Help Wanted task or I'm in the process of saving up coins for an expensive decoration.
I just got a second island once I made a level of 500, and it is like a storage shed, frees me up to get a handle on things on the main island everyone sees.

I love your wedding scene. I agree with you, we have to buy too many things to try to keep your Island beautiful. It's too crowded. Not your!!! Mine is too crowded, I don't like to do that but I don't have a choice.

Click on the map icon (second from left) and explore the map to find the next island to open up. The other islands Sunflower, Laurel, Willow, Snowdrop and Marigold. I am currently opening up my sixth island.
Hi guys. Does anyone know where the portraits bought in deja vu shop or got as prizes can be found? I got two of them and have no idea where they are. And what they are for
I like the game but especial decorations are expensive and the award to some of the camps are repetitive. I would like to have more space in Orchid island, when it gets crowded it does not look good. I have unlocked 4 more islands but Orchid is the main island.

Every since they changed our bushes I find that I receive 20 diamonds a good bit more often in the pink boxes than I used to before “bush-gate”. So far it I haven’t really seen it as a problem 🤞🏻🤞🏻
@@annsmith9196 there was a big problem with a lot of people when wooga decided to take away the normal red, blue and green bushes that you can gift to people and it gives them the diamonds that they use to serve their team extra drinks in the lounge for energy. With the new bushes you never know what you are going to get and diamonds aren’t guaranteed. People feel like they did that to force people to pay real money for diamonds
@@elexis3728 I've noticed that, too. I currently have about 150 diamonds and I haven't bought any in over a month, they're all from bushes and boxes. Personally I love the new bush system! I don't care much for the tips or materials but it's nice getting league points. Also, having 8 bushes to gift for coins makes it a lot easier to complete help wanted tasks.
@@ellenkarlsson9490 I actually like it too. I use the orange bushes when I get a task wanting a certain amount of material’s or the other bush when I have to find a compass. Plus I’ve used quite a few for decorating several areas to add a pop of color or something. I’m ok with the bushes but a couple of my teammates have recently said they had to purchase diamonds just to serve an extra drink because it had been a couple of weeks since the bushes gave them any diamonds.

Have you noticed that if you stack the fencing it will make a tree cover look for those odd spaces!! I just discovered this recently!

I agree..it takes so many compasses to unblock new areas I am frequently out of space to play

Make sure to crowd your clouds with items to free up space quicker.

I try to avoid the straight line of sand with the water too. It can be time consuming to get it just right but my brain feels it is necessary 🤷🏼♀️

Keep playing. I have five islands which I have managed to arrange quite well (IMHO). Sell low count items and buy high count items.
