    I'm happy with it. Convex grind, robust tip. My EDC on the farm. General use and hunting. She's a beauty for sure!

    one thing i hate about knives today is that they can't seem to get a clue, if you want to make a hunting knife, the spine CANT be thick, bushcraft knife spines CAN and should --- its really that simple, if anything this knife will be the coupe de gras for the animal, but dressing it, not this knife, too thick

      I disagree. I just dressed out a moose and two bear last weekend then spent the whole of this weekend breaking the moose down for the freezer. I used my NL2 to do the “rough stuff” and the larger cutting and my SK1 to do the majority of the skinning and the finer work.
      The SK1 is 4.5 mm thick. It performed really well, clean-skinned the bear just fine. Only stropped it during the whole procedure (I use Trizact to strop) and it’s shaving sharp. I used the ceramic side of my DC4 a couple of times on the NL2 but only cause I’m fussy on a real fine edge.
