Vaisin: yeah I've lost respect for Dre too, and now I feel he got what he deserved with his time at death row records and afterwards. I went back and researched some things about Dre and her movie helped clarify those findings about him. No surprises about her story on Suge though
The interviewer does not seem prepared and the way she keeps saying "um huh" is not professional.

And that was sweet for her to say after all she has been through but I am so glad that she did make the movie and survived it all because some don't survive that abuse. Dre & Suge are awful people and could never respect them for abusing women. They are just very sad to me.

She is gorgeous I remember living in DC. And people will always tell me I looked like her so I did my researched and loved her music my God I never knew she went through this, so did I and kept it locked in. So I could really relate to her life. So proud of her.

Answers about Dre that were foggy to me have been cleared after watching this movie. Didn't know he was this bad but their were clues out there that I didn't piece together until I saw this movie. I'm not surprised one bit by Suge Knight, I just didn't know he had a baby with Michel'le. I'm also glad that Dre didn't apologize to her b4 she would be inspired to tell their story otherwise I would still be in the dark about him (I didn't know he had nine children and was abusive) but now I can put the puzzle together and see the whole picture

I dont' know how Rhyon kept her voice that high all the time she was portraying Michel'le. It seems like that would hurt and put a strain on her voice.
She’s a singer I’m pretty sure she’s know how to do higher placements w/o straining her voice (no hate)
@@amiyahdavidson1892 I understand what you're saying, but I also sing and do voices, and there are certain voices I simply cannot do, or can't do for long because they are too high or too low above my natural pitch and it wears my voice out very quickly. And given that her natural voice is exceptionally low compared to Michel'le , it would seem it would take a toll on her voice over time. BUT --- everyone's capabilities are different, so . . . .

So she found closure in this movie but DRe should of really been man enough to tell the mother of his children or child how sorry he did her. Michel'le is still very pretty and the actress Rhyon is too that played her in the movie and Rhyon is a very well spoken young lady and gifted actress. She played the heck out Michel'le character in the movie for sure. When people say that Michel'le had cosmetic surgery well she really did not. Dre(the monster) broke her nose twice and that is why it had to be done over to correct her noise and Suge(the other monster) dislocated her jaw and they had to be relocated it back in place. Other than that she has not had any surgery on face at other than her nose. I am so glad that she did this movie and it will help other ladies I hope to find their way that is going through what she has been through or that have in the past. I got much love for you Michel'le and keep on gracing us w/your beautiful singing voice. What breaks my heart ♥ is that after we have been through slavery as black people some our black men still want to beat on us after all as black people we have been through. Come on now men that do this please stop and wake up that we are not your punching bags and deserve better than you. May God Continue to Bless Michel'le and Rhyon on continue success. As my mother would always say God is not dead. And he is not. 🙏💜🙏

Hi PC Wiz, From what I remember, none of the reporters were given an opportunity to watch this movie ahead of time on this tour. Of course, we want to watch the product before hand. The PR just gave us brief clips and some press material to work with. -- Richard, Executive Producer

@@ladarius82 Yeah, I agree with you 100% on the underwhelming. I remember Veronica telling me she got caught off guard by Michel'le asking her that. She wasn't sure what to say, so she said she watched it, but then said watched part of it or something like that. She kind of contradict herself. Veronica felt really bad about that. She didn't want to mislead the talents or viewers. It's one of those strange moments when it's live. I also remember afterwards that she and I talked and reviewed the interview. We both agreed that we wished we had an opportunity to watch the movie, but, sadly, we were not given the full film to preview in the days prior. It would have been a WAY BETTER interview had we seen the film; we agree with all the viewers. Side note: Many interviews are simply notes and clips for the reporters. We do what we can. Any case, we are still glad we got to talked to both of them. Thank you for your feedback. It's nice to chat with someone who is willing to have a brief discussion about it. Thanks, Richard.

How are you going to interview people and NOT see the full movie??? This interviewer has opportunity for growth for sure.
Just to let you know, our interviewer was given the opportunity to the see the film ahead of if time. There was no advance screening on this one. All she had were some clips to view or trailer. Sometimes that is all the press is given.
Just watched Surviving Compton, I always knew Suge Knight was a son of a bitch, but I didn't know or recall Dre's violent and abusive antics, I kinda lost the respect I had for him.

Veronica Holmes she wanted no children. one she said that at the time she wasn't in a position to carry. And secondly, Dre forced her to keep the pregnancy. He was indefinitely a bully towards innocent/broken homes females then. smdh!!! Am happy for who Michel'le is today though. wishing her the very best in life.

@@JRae1 I’m late as hell lol but yeah I remember she did an interview and they ask her how her singing career started she said it was Eazy E who wanted her to sing. She said Dre just wanted her to stay home and have his kids. He didn’t want her to work. I honestly think he was jealous of her success and he wanted to be the only successful one.
