That part in the movie when Dre crawls up in the bed and she thought he was gonna start kissing her but he actually starts beating her......Man , that broke my heart !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was like “what the fuck?” Seriously, what was going through his head. He just started treating her horribly out of the blue, it didn’t even make any sense. Just evil!

I don't think D Henny meant that as an insult. You don't go through that kind of hell without being psychologically damaged. There was something about the way she spoke about how The D.O.C would tell Dre to stop hitting her but wouldn't do anything to intervene kind of stunned me. She said she appreciated him for that. I would have a hard time not being resentful of the men (and women) who witnessed my abuse and did nothing. But maybe her process for healing is to just let all of that go. I don't know, but either way, I'm glad she's speaking out.
I wonder if Michel' le has ever received counseling--she seemed almost non-chalant about the abuse she suffered, you can tell that she has been used to being abused. This is so sad!
@@TheBellehaitian I don't think she's "ok" with the things that happened to her. I just think she wants to put it all behind her and have a life she can be proud of and be happy.

This movie was amazing. Moving, well acted, riveting and by far the best lifetime movie i've seen! You can tell she was so involved in the film and her spirit and story are inspirational. As A woman that was in an abusive relationship for 6 months watching the movie made me sob and get the chills, she portrays the anger, loss and devotion/ attachment you feel towards your abuser so perfectly. Thank you Michel'le for being a warrior for all women! We salute you!

ummmmm who knows if she had wound up with Easy she may of died of aids also. Or you never never know maybe if they had gotton together he never would of died of aids we will never know
the movie probably won't be seen now since Dr. Dre's legal team is HOUNDING her and sending her threats/ making public statements about the film being stopped from being released.
+Analee i think Sony are ignoring him, they put a statement from Dre at the end of the movie where he pretends he never touched Michel'le, once. I think as long as they use it then it's going to be fine to air. I *hope*
Here is a saying You reap "What" you sow "More" than you sowed and "Later" when you "Sowed" it,. When you dont tell the truth, and denied the truth, Situations "Always" have a way of coming back to you in life and "will" affect your family, especially when you have daughters,( and you better "Pray" they don't) will meet an abuser that will abuse "Them" in their lifetime. Also not to mention that "Abusers" will get old too,and will find themselves being abused by others in a place( Nursing home, etc) that they do not have a choice to be in. We "All" will either reap good consequences or bad,and that depends on the "Choices" we make throughout our days on this earth. #ITISTRUETHATOURSINSWILLFINDUS

sweetlikez I agree, back then men would make the argument that a woman deserved it . I hate to think about the number of women who did not survive. I hope she is getting counseling, because when she said "I was already doped up so it didn't hurt," and she was serious, it is obvious that the abuse has a huge affect on her on a much deeper level than most.
That smile at 5:05, you can see her appreciation that people are finally recognizing her suffering and how it's seeping in, what an inspiring woman to overcome so much.
I hate abuse entirely....yet, I couldn't stop smiling and giggling listening to her answer Wendy and I don't know why and not because of her voice but due to her bubbly effervescent personality and blatant honesty. Even placing blame on herself as a mother...the anger I was feeling about what happened to her by these men subsided as I listened and experienced being touched by an angel, like her spirit was saying its okay, I'm alright. I was consistently left just feeling so happy like she wasn't even being asked difficult questions at all about abuse. The light in Michel'le is so entirely bright and joy bringing that it had to provoke the demons in these men to sheer rage that a heaven sent angel was before them and Thriving. It was like her inner spirit was resistant to be enraged and had a message to bring, they couldn't touch it, though they touched her in the flesh. She's truly someone that girls, and women, can and should look up to. I cannot imagine how strong she had to be to get through everything she's experienced, even the things like her addiction. I can't express how happy I am that she made it past... well, her past. She's not just living, she's thriving, and she's really an inspiration to me. I wish I could tell her all that her own bravery and strength has done for myself and my own. I could go on... she is absolutely honest and I love that. not many people expect a female that has gone through that to open up. even if you know you deserve better and you have been with someone for a decade..it's so hard to walk away..especially when you have a kid. I commend her for speaking up and I feel everything is done at the right time and this was the right time..they didn't want her in the straight outta compton movie because it would have tainted everything but I enjoyed that lifetime movie..it didn't even feel like a made for tv movie at all

@@debrahudson6324 No, he needed time in prison. Shug Knight hit her one time and never again. I don't care what happened to him as a child, inexcusable. I guarantee you had Dee Barnes been white, he would not have looked at her funny.
I love her! So glad i'm getting to know who she is!~
p.s. I like your hair. Its green like mines. Great interview... Wow, so brave!😘
Shes very humble..she deserves soo much better, her heart is beautiful!♡
Her voice is so sweet❤️ I love it! And I’m so sorry she had to go through that
“We have a great relationship… we don’t have one” 😂😂😂 YASSSS!!
I love Michel'le... she is strong, honest, n courageous...may the Most High bless her n all women who r abused...
Her humor in it all despite the hurtful incidents is priceless.
Her voice and whole demeanor is so beautiful, makes me cry ❣️
i watched this 3 times!!!...may god bless her..man i feel sorry for her..glad she doing good now!!!!
My heart goes out to you Michel'le, such a beautiful woman.
Wow, I didn't even know about all of this. Wow, Michel'le my heart goes out to you! Good for you on speaking out!!!!
She, just was in the wrong place at the right time. My heart goes out to her.
First off I have to say that Michel'le is so cute, with her lil squeaky voice. But also she is so inspirational and so strong for telling her story. Watching this movie had me in my feelings and I felt so bad that she had to go through all of that. I'm glad that she's healing and that her attitude and outlook on life is so positive
She has a bright outlook on Everything
.
Michel'le is so adorable and sweet but also so upfront and honest I hope nothing but blessings on her life.
She’s so beautiful 🥺 kind hearted and all you can just tell. Even after everything she’s been through
Awwwww she is so cute and truthful she went through so much
Omg...I did not know Michel'le went through so much. My goodness!! Glad she survived it all. I loved Michelle's music. Hope she comes out with more music. That would be wonderful.
Awww....I just want to hug her.
She is still fine after all these years straight up
I love her she has a heart of gold, god please protect her and her heart
I love her, her voice may be off to some but I can listen to it all day. She's sweet too. Abuse of any kind should not be condoned in any way. She's inspired me to tell my story.
Michel'le is and has always appeared to be such a naive but sweet soul..I have always liked her music.
I love her I swear..... her voice alone makes me want to hug her and love her even more," she's adorable
she is absolutely honest and I love that. not many people expect a female that has gone through that to open up. even if you know you deserve better and you have been with someone for a decade..it's so hard to walk away..especially when you have a kid. I commend her for speaking up and I feel everything is done at the right time and this was the right time..they didn't want her in the straight outta compton movie because it would have tainted everything but I enjoyed that lifetime movie..it didn't even feel like a made for tv movie at all
Her honesty is everything lol
I watched the movie and it was sad, my mother got the same treatment, Michele'le is a beautiful spirit. No one should have went through what she went through, and their are millions of women going through this now. Please get out of these relationships, if your in one now.
Dr Dre is the new Ike Turner.
Dawn Nichols He might of been worse than Ike or damn near
It was hard to watch :(
