I think this show was on in the early hours, which was a novelty in England in those days. Crow noises possibly meant to suggest nightime, the dawn, graveyard shifts, etc.
Oliver Reed almost kicked his ass when he interviewed him. Reed drank all the booze in the dressing room and came out on the show just smashed and that kid interviewer tried getting smart with him...
