I remember doing a lot of Nazareth in NASCAR 08 and how 8-11year old me was so immersed with how unique the track was. Truly a shame of great circuits like this dying off.
I grew up in Easton about 10 min away from the track. Was certainly unique indeed. I remember Jeff Pervis blowing his engine, crashing, then biffle slipping in the oil and whipping pervis' car side on side. Ill never forget that sound, It was just brutal. Truex jr won the last race in a great finish. Its a shame the people of Nazareth didn't want the track. A lot of complaints for noise 2 weekends out of the year. It was cool having two unique tracks in this and Pocono to go to.
I kinda feel the same way about North Wilkesboro. I had family that went to the university up the road from there and we would pass under the 1&2 grandstand going along the highway.
I just stumbled upon this video… boy do I miss this track. I live an hour away from Nazareth and made a trip to see the place one afternoon and I couldn’t even get in since it was locked up. A little disappointing, but I remember this track specifically from this game. Great memories man!
I’m sure a million people say this....but man if you ever decide to build a PC you will LOVE iRacing. Putting on my oculus and ripping into T1 at Indianapolis is the coolest experience I’ve had in gaming.
I remember they included this track in Nascar 06 as a fantasy track. The way that game handled with braking I could go through turn 2 flat out and just tap the brake a few times to hug the rumble strips. Please someone, SAVE NAZARETH

I first raced at Nazereth on Nascar 2006: TTC , and I honestly thought that it was a fantasy track because it was so weird-ly awesome
I remember the first race Indy car race I watched.. Michael Andretti won that race and became my driver.. it was at this track.

I have a Book of Nazareth Speedway and it’s shame it’s fell into disrepair and completely abandoned and they don’t make tracks like that anymore
