Spurs dominated possession, hit the post and had a very dubious VAR decision go against them before Arsenal broke to go 2-0 up. It t was only 3-2 at the end. He's been here less than a season. He's patently aware of where Spurs need to improve (penetration into the opposition's box being the most obvious). All the armchair tacticians need to cool the beans. I think set piece defence mistakes will have been noted.

They're supposed to be making sharp quick passes on the break but they all take too many touches. I can see Romero going to RM in the summer leaving Dragusin as his replacement or Dragusin asks to be sold. Maddison worked with intelligent winger/strikers like Barnes and Vardy and got something like 20 goal and assist contributons every season with the last four years for Leicester. I can see him trying to look for a pass but it's either to crowded in his area with players cutting in or it goes to the wings to be passed backwards and sideways. So many attacks break down because our forwards are average lacking the intelligence and movement in the final third.

As a spurs fan I have to say I honestly don't know what's best. We commit to a manager for 5 or so years and hope that brings about the team that can challenge or we keep going through more managers. Ange doesn't fill me with confidence that he understands the game from a tactics point of view.
