Hello Jing👋🏼I know you are critical of your speech but I love watching your videos. You are one of my favorites. You are so intelligent and beautiful and you are unassuming and humble which I think are great qualities to have. Your language is very good. I love that clemensiorum! It’s so awesome! I hope you keep making videos.
You are so sweet and kind! It is always nice to hear your feedback because I can't help but to feel self-conscious when editing for hours... Clemensiorum is definitely one of the best hoyas out there! Big leaves and that prehistoric look...
Hi Jing! You're doing great, and we all love your videos! I'm sure starting a youtube channel is hard and probably would make many of us self conscious but it's worth it! Keep it up. ❤💪🏼💪🏼
Yes! Please keep putting out new content. (Hoya 😊) Wonderful to see BC based. I feel like I am stuck in a Hoya void here in Revelstoke. Wish you a lucky 2023.
The fact that you are making videos and putting yourself out there is very admirable! So don’t be too hard on yourself with the way you talk 😊 I enjoy listening to you and always look forward to your videos ❤ Keep up the great work! 😉
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm working on being comfortable with myself but I can't help but to be critical of myself. It's probably my Chinese upbringing, but I feel like I'm improving!
Love your videos! You're doing great! I think your talking bothers you more than anyone else. I'd love it if you did a collection of your long and strappy leaf hoyas!
Yay, another plant pro to give us advice. I am thoroughly enjoying your videos.Thank -you for sharing some of your hoyas.Cant wait for the next upload.
The last Hoya was beautiful. On the search and on my way down the rabbit hole. Thank you for sharing some beautiful hoya. I have the polyneuera albo marginata. I recently purchased it and I can not wait to see how it takes off in 2023.
Love watching your hoyas so beautiful. I cannot keep them even though I live in the tropics. The minute I buy them they immediately get spider mites 🤣🤣 but I live vicariously through everyone that can keep them
Merry Christmas, I hope you and your husband managed not to get sick, and the kids are feeling better! Thanks as always for sharing your gorgeous plants!
Very interesting video. I don’t own any of the Hoyas you shared but feel I’d like to look into getting my hands on at least one of them (the last one in the video in particular). I will rewatch to get more details about it when I’m ready to start the search. Thanks for sharing your favourites and keep up the good work in producing videos, you will I’m sure, get more comfortable making them.
I'm glad you found it interesting even though you're not a hoya person! Hope you'll find something you like in 2023 💚 Also, thank you so much for your encouragement!
Beautiful Hoyas - they all look stunning! My favourite genus as well. That polyneura looks very special. Like you, I have had success using End All for the mite issue which seems like a much better option than sulphur.
Yay I’m getting a Hoya joy in a trade so I’m happy to see it on your list 😍 also, I loved that fact about the bad luck year in the Chinese zodiac, it’s ok to deviate from plant talk sometimes!! Can’t wait to see more videos from you 💕🌿
Ohh I'm so happy you will have a Joy to grow, it is such a rewarding hoya to grow! Also, glad to hear you enjoyed the fun fact about bad luck year. Getting used to including more of my personal life!
Can confirm that H. verticillata (formerly H. parasitica) is a tough plant. It hasn't grown for me, yet. It is winter, here and I purchased it in late summer. I am very wary of overwatering, because of recent experiences with H. pubicalyx and H. diversifolia.
Verticillata is definitely quite easy going! I haven't had much experience with diversifolia, but pubixalyx should be fairly easy too. I think growing in semi-hydro is a great solution if you tend to overwater!
Toronto is the same.. Hope you get time to relax. Happy New Year! 🎉💚🌿if you have a chance I would like to know how to propogate my lacunosa silver.. the main plant was dying ( soil was extremely wet when I purchased plant) so I have some cuttings in a box of perlite.. I see new white tips ( I am guessing roots) but how long until I can plant them? And what substrate? I have hoya in sphagnum and some in pon and some in soil... Thank you if you can help me.. PS some of my hoya/ orchids are from crystal star nursery.. They all came in moss.. Its a small mom, pop and daughter nursery that enables me to buy beautiful plants.. oh and huge FYI that sulpher spray tarnishes gold and silver pretty badly... You are doing a wonderful job..
Thank you for watching! I usually wait until the new roots are about 1 inch long before transferring, but they can actually grow in perlite for quite long without problem. I would transplant hoyas rooted in moss very quickly because it becomes way too difficult to remove the moss and I cut off all the roots to restart when I purchase from CSN (not saying their plants are bad, it's just my preference!) Thanks for the heads up about Sulphur, I think I'm gonna stay away for now 😆
Just a small correction, the albo polyneura was first found /developed/mutated in New Zealand. Australia is only slowly getting them in, so they’re super expensive still. NZ hate it when Australia gets credit for their hard work!
Enjoyed, your top 6 hoyas video, Jing! Is that how to spell your name correctly? I put the H. Joy splash on my list, that is one beautiful Hoya! Don’t worry about idioms. Even English (as first language) speakers mess them up from time to time..... 😊 I know i do!
Yes, Jing is how my name is spelled! Hoya Joy with splash really is the best of the bunch. And thank you for your encouragement, I am slowly getting used to just being myself on camera!
I love all your plants. Thank you for touching on Hoya undulata. My import from Indonesia had three beautiful cuttings and so far it only looks as if one will make it. Depressing. Fingers crossed for the one. ❤️😅
Hoya undulata has been one of the most difficult to me. I should do a most difficult hoyas video next year. Wishing your undulata will survive and thrive!!
Simply sit her in a south facing window, there are two varieties of them and they grow diff. Look up Doug chamberlain channel from Vermont Hoyas you will understand better, Iv put mine in south window water jet twice wk. she’s thriving. Try not to indulge to much in the mineral hype. 😊

Thank you! Such a relief to hear that. I'm learning to be ok with my speech 😌
You showed me plenty that I haven’t seen before. But I liked all of them.

Oh no, spider mites are so hard to get rid of... Hope you will find a perfect hoya in 2023 🥳
I’m so amazed by how well ur clemensiorum grows :)

Thank you! I'm glad to hear a 2nd opinion on End All. It works and it doesn't smell as bad as sulfur
Hello please share name of the end all treatment you use. Please the complete name. Thank u😊
The Hoya CV Joy is gorgeous. Love to own one someday.
They are so cute 😍
Wow your joy looks amazing❤❤❤❤

Thanks for the tip!
Great hoya choices, love them all! I really liked the big leaf hoya Joy. Is it called cv joy? Thanks for sharing and have a great new year!
Thank you! Yes, the last hoya is Hoya cv. Joy with splash 🥰

Thanks for visiting 💕
Can you please share the name of the treatment you used for mites. You referred to it as “endo?”
It is Safer's End-All spray
Thank you for your wonderful videos!!!! May I ask where you purchased the pot that your clemensiorum is in?
I buy them from Winners/Home Sense! I've only seen them in those stores.
@@planthappens thank you!!
Great video OMG that last Hoya Joy was it? I need!
Yes, you 100% need it 😁 It's a very rewarding hoya!
Hope 2023 is your best luck year 😊
