Actually oddly enough, the problems that you have with the slow layer changes and weird fader behavior are not problems with the fit, but rather with the LV1 software. If you try the fit with other software, like for example mixing station, it is very fast to change layers and much more responsive.
Yes, very true!! I actually am in touch with the waves support team and have left a LOT of suggestions for features! And yeah the implementation in mixingstation is actually better from my point of view! Not also the fader speed but also the knob eq/comp/gate section is insane!
The faders are capacitive. If you move a fader with your nail, it will flip back. If you make contact with your finger it should normally not be stuck. Maybe this helps.
TIL what Spill is used for. I just thought that button would knock over my 🍺. Do you use a case for the Fit and monitor? I see there are a few companies that sell them but they are about as expensive as the Fit controller.
If you place your 🍺 on the FIT, the spill button will spill your beer 🍺. The cases are expensive. So I built my own. Check out one of my first videos, perhaps the absolute first one. I show how I build my custom case. And I’m looking to buy another LV1, so there might be one more build video in a month or two.

Ah, ok. Well that makes sense. And also means that it's possible to fix with software updates.
Thanks.

Yeah, that might be it actually. Thanks.
Joe, the L/R fader bug you mentioned around 2:15 was fixed a week ago. Reinstall LV1 and this issue will be gone.
Oh really, that's awesome. Thanks a lot.

What case are you using?
Custom built. Check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/a1yKn7WIqM8/v-deo.html
