The greatest to ever do it, I have tried to emulate his approach and delivery. This man did it all. All respect to the GOAT!!!

I modeled everything in bowling by watching Pete Weber. The GOAT in my opinion. His trash talking I love.

@@aidenoreo255 Pete's line to the person in the audience was verbal harassment on a minor. The only reason he got away with it is because the kid's father was an employee at Brunswick Zone Carolier, the host center. Pete was being an asshole in the only place he could be. Anywhere else, he would get knocked out.

Pete gets pretty fired up for these shows and it gives him kind of a weird reputation but I’ve met him many times and watched up close in qualifying games and he was one of the nicest pros I have ever met. However There’s another pro in his generation that everyone thinks is a sweetheart that is an actual turd and I don’t think most people would believe who it is.

It’s amazing how much better bowlers are today. Some of the frames he had in his victories would set you up to lose nowadays. Not to mention, Pete never led the PBA in average even though the top dogs were only averaging between 210-216. The top average now it’s between 225-230. He was great for the time but isn’t close to the guys we see now.

I would like Pete Weber a lot more if he had just a little of the class and humility of his father. But then, he doesn't care what I think. He doesn't care what anyone thinks of him. I just don't like him much. He's still the 2nd best Weber of all time in my book.

Pete had a lot of his father off the lanes. One of their tour stops in Dallas when I was a kid, he gave me the ball he was using during qualifying and signed it, and told me to give well wishes. Years later as an adult, I saw him again with that same ball and he remembered and he resigned it over his autograph that had faded some.

@@texasbbq3191 Pete was a good dude with anger issues and obviously with some major ghouls. He certainly had his share of assholery. But I've heard stories about him doing some generous deeds and I liked how he mellowed and was courteous for the most part, from what I've seen and heard.
