➤ Watch Kara and Nates Full Singapore First Class Experience: • 13 Hours in Singapore ...
We just saw Kara and Nate fly from London to Singapore in the incredible Singapore Airlines first class suites on board the double decker A380 which is essentially a hotel room in the sky allowing couples to share a double bed with adjoining suites. But at nearly $20,000 for two people on certain routes, you'll be happy to hear that you can book this amazing experience using miles and points. So today I will walk you through the entire process step-by-step so that YOU can experience this for yourself without fro completely FREE.

I’d just like to pop in here and reiterate that IT’S WORTH IT YALL 😍✈️🙌🏼💁🏻♀️ nice work Brendan!!
Do you guys generate enough monthly business expenses to earn 6 figures points in a monthly basis? That’s usually the limiting factor for churners.
They are getting over 1 million views on all their videos. They def are generating that kind of revenue.
Brenden killed this and Deserves the suit in his next trip!!!!
UA-cam channel for 13 hours? Kinging it! Found them because of y'all and love them!
Thank you Brendan for breaking this all down for us. I hope I am able to utilize my miles on a future flight on Singapore Airlines. I flew Singapore Airlines the last time I flew home, and it was amazing even though I flew economy. SIA knows how to pamper their passengers so I can see how much they pamper their first-class passengers. And thank you to Kara and Nate for featuring their trip from London in these amazing suites. 😍
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for your kind comment:)
Exactly. These “free flights” are all based on signup bonuses OR 6+ figures of annual spending on your card. No discussion of how much $ spend you need on most of these cards to afford these mileage reward tickets if it weren’t for the signup bonuses. Because at that rate you are better off just spending the 9k$ on the ticket itself.
I think while you have a point , it’s more about how much you spend overall. I think most prefer to buy stuff like food , house stuff that add up to the points value , than spend all that money at once on a ticket.
It’s almost like ,, you spent the money somehow you just getting the ticket at a discount rate .. it’s almost like you saved up for the flight , instead of buying it at once .
If you used a cash back card you would get actual money in return. So by using a travel credit card you are not getting the cash which shows Kara and Nate's trip was not free!

We’ve been stocking up on Chase Ultimate Rewards points. This flight is definitely something to look forward to!
That is awesome, thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Daily Drop and Brendan! This video is super helpful and insightful. This gets me excited to book future flights using miles and (crossing my fingers) one day take my wife on this flight. Kara and Nate's video from this flight is also awesome. Keep up the great work!
So glad you are enjoying the content! Thanks for the kind comment:)
Oh can’t wait to watch this video after the gym… as I said in a previous comment, got my first travel rewards card… fast forward 2 months… first sub earned! Can’t wait to add more and get some free business or first class seats!
That is awesome to here! Keep us updated on your travel experiences. We love to hear these success stories!
ohhhh i subbed to see more Kara & Nate, who's this dude 👀
Ty DD, I just got my 80,000 points on my chase sapphire rewards courtesy of DD and I just signed up for my Marriott cc and their rewards points
Amazing! Thank you for sharing!
I definitely need a personal assistant to do this for me. Yikes my head hurts.
Haha they definitely don’t make it easy for a reason. Well worth the effort in my opinion, though!
Definitely on my bucket list, as well as Qsuites, and Lufthansa First on 747. I'm flying Emirates First on the A380 this fall I can't wait.
Hey! I love your travel videos! They are so helpful and informative. I live in Canada, would you be able to do a video on how to take advantage of Canadian credit cards and maybe Air Canada Aeroplan points? Thanks!
...and European credit cards too please?
We have seen this question A LOT so it is definitely something we are working on. Let us know if theres any specific products that you think are popular in Canada and worth covering in more detail:)
$0? What about the taxes and fees? LHR-SIN was about $300. But, yeah, still a pretty good deal!
Yes, by not mentioning the taxes the whole premice of your video is false. They are not traveling for free!
Good for y’all. I hope to be able to be points king someday like Nate. I follow the website as well.
Love the content! However, just a qq: just checked my amex and found out that the transfer to Singapore A is not 1:1 but rather 3:2? Are there any regional (I live in Europe) or card-related (Amex gold, platinum etc) differences regarding the miles/points transfer? Thx and keep up the great work
Is there anything more luxurious than this? Where does it stop!😂
We booked a private jet using miles and points…??🤔
Great video! I'm curious though, what do you do with the credit card after you've earned the bonus miles? I've noticed many of these credit cards have an annual fee and it just doesn't make sense for me to have lots of credit cards for my regular expenses. Do you cancel the card right away? Does that hurt your credit score?
the chase preferred/reserve both have annual travel credits which can offset the annual fee a little bit. there’s other perks too that might make it worth it for you to keep using the card. closing a newer card will impact your credit some, but not as much as if you were to cancel a card you’ve had for a long time.
Thank you from Singapore!
This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing this info. I noticed on the transfer partner cheat sheet you show transfer timing for each program. If the transfer time isn’t instant, there is a risk that while waiting the award space could get booked by someone else, right? If so, that makes me nervous. 😬 Thanks again!
This video is missing some important information for using the KrisFlyer program. First, the transfers are not always instant. Singapore does allow you to hold reward flights, but you have to call. If you don't call, there's a good chance you'll lose the award space. Second, the miles expire 3 years after earning (at the end of the month). To my knowledge, aside from a global pandemic, there is no way to extend them.
To get deals like you show is hard if you don’t travel a lot.
Kara and Nate are cool but they really became luxury backpackers! Everything the finest and most expensive! But yeah he’ll lot of fun watch it.
Shame that this strategy is more effective in the States where it seems like you can just sign up for many different credit cards at different times. That wouldn’t work in Australia as our credit laws are pretty strict, and every credit card is subject to a credit, income and expenses check.
So, it seems like many of the Daily Drop videos are based on CHASE points - the credit cards of which are not available in Canada, as far as I know (though Aeroplan points are a part of the Air Alliance conglomerate) so many of these videos and tips don't seem to apply to us Canadians...??
Thanks for the feedback! Are there any cards specifically that you'd like us to cover that are popular in Canada?
I NEED to do this!!!
Agreed…for now we can all live vicariously through Kara and Nate!
One minor thing - I haven't ever seen the A380 tickets (ie the suite the guys flew, not the 777 first class) available with a 'saver' ticket - it's only ever 'advantage' which will drastically skew the quoted cents-per-point value... To be fair, I've only looked at the SIN-LHR route!
Thank you all once again
A couple things stand out to me about this video. You are choosing the absolute cheapest day for point redemption (in 2024), then choosing the most expensive cash flight (near term) to calculate the redemption value - which you say is 6cents .. so a bit misleading. Additionally, you reference a "$20,000 first class seat". This was calculated on 2 passengers flying, not on a per seat basis. At no point throughout the course of this video was it shown how points were redeemed for $20,000 worth of cash tickets. Oversensationalized.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
What new car are you buying for $18k in America??
How much extra cash $ (in addition to miles) does the award ticket from LHR to Singapore? You left that part out.
42 USD
I would be interested in going to Sydney. Does the A380 leave directly from LA to AU? Or it may be Las Vegas. Some friends of mine did it a few years ago
Great video!! Thank you. Is it possible to split a flight booking with paying some and also using points? My partner has his economy flights covered by work but wants to use his points to upgrade.
Great question! Most airlines don't allow split payments when purchasing airline tickets but a few select airlines like JetBlue do allow this in my experience. Definitely something that I wish was more widely available but if you are short on points, sometimes you can buy points just to cover the difference.
Do these rewards work from credit cards in Europe as I haven't heard of any of these card before?
No. The miles hacking is sth you can do with the American cards but noy Canadian, European, Australian etc
We are planning a Europe tour for 2 monthss & my most significant expense Is Stay, who can I bring it down????? I am looking hostel & Airbnb (No Hotels).
There's no audio 😢
Great video Brendan! Just a small question; on the video recording of the screen of the flight from Hong Kong to Singapore I saw ‘the price listed’ as 45.000 miles + 345HKD. Does that mean you still always need to pay a small amount on top of those miles? 🙏☺️
Yes… miles do not cover taxes in general.
Krisflyer miles dont always transfer instantly. Especially from amex. Call them first to put the award flight on hold
This is a great tip! Thank you for the feedback!
Good luck for the future
You mentioned your cheat cheat , was that in one of the emails so we can see it .

Woahhhhhh 😮😮
Hi There! Is it possible to use points from various sources (combine them) to equal the total amount for a flight? For example, I may have 40k points from Amex, 60k points from Chase, and 50k points from Cap 1. Can I combine them in order to come up with the grand total I may need for one trip? Thanks for the great tips!
Yes it doesn’t matter where the points come from. Just make sure they are coming from credit cards that belong to the same name as the Krisflyer account. For example you can’t transfer your credit card points to someone else’s Krisflyer account.
You failed to mention that the booking is “waitlisted” and not confirmed
Brendan Kara and Nate are going from Heathrow London to Singapore when did they book their trip then? It’s not on the list of flight options that you showed.
It was on the table that he showed. It's for 141k/225.5k miles one-way
Just booked out first BC ticket from LAX to Paris. Only by using points that i got for my amex refferal. 0 spending!
That is so awesome, love to hear it!
Great redemption, but I doubt 99.9% of viewers won't want to put in the effort to find the award flight.
Exactly. Who has time to tell work oh I’m needing this week off since I found a deal.. most of us have a tight time frame for vacation. I feel like this is more for the rich or those who have a flexible job.
Let’s say you’re trying to book a trip to Ireland from Las Vegas, and that would most likely happen through Aer Lingus..? Would it be the same process? Find the reward flight in Aer Lingus, transfer points, redeem points?
ya think
@@darith770 perfect! Thank you
So do you have to pay off the balance in order to get the points ??
Great question! With most cards, rewards are based on spending so you get the points wether you pay it off or not...but like we always say, you of course want to pay off the card in full and honestly need to in order to come out ahead. Hope this helps!
Goals ❤❤❤
"Smooth Flying", hahaha
What are the taxes and fees cost?
yes
It was not FREE! How about the taxes (Likely about $400)? How about the value of the frequent flyer miles which could be used to rent a car or stay in a hotel.
You are misleading your viewers by saying you can travel for free using frequent flyer miles for international trips!
Great strategy, but remember that most people don't have a UA-cam channel that generates enough income to allow them to spend 6 figures to generate that many points. Also Chase now limits how many sign up bonuses you can get, and some card companies even have one bonus per lifetime language in their T& C's. So for the average person, this is not a sustainable strategy if you plan to take more than a few trips.
How many credit cards are people really signing up for? Every time you open a line of credit, your credit score decreases. Not great.
Decreases temporarily*. And then it goes back to normal. I've got 20+ opened credit cards, and will be opening more every few months
You are 100% correct! Typically its a temporary short term trop due to a "hard inquiry" but long term, adding a new card will increase you lines of credit, improve your credit mix, and increase available credit which is good for utilization, so in my experience my score ends up being even higher after opening a new card after just a few months.
What is the deal with Saver vs Advantage??? Other than Saver needs fewer points. How do I know which plan I have?
Actually is just a matter of availability… airlines have multiple fare classes, and for miles as well. If the flight is not doing great in occupancy, or it’s in a low season, they will make the saver fare available to guarantee someone will book. If they don’t need people booking with miles, they will use the other fare class that charges more miles
Useless video - for every experience recommended on this channel, you'll sign-up a new credit card? Why don't you tell how much a person needs to spend in a year to get these many points? Goodluck to your credit score mate.
Hey Kara
Hello:)
Hey Nate
Hello!
MILE HIGH CLUB
👍🏻😎🌞🌺🍀
LoL it's not zero dollars because you had to spend a shi ton of money to get the points.
It's better to say I spend a lot of money on other things which got me the transfer points which made this flight free. The title makes it seem like boom anybody can do this.
I've never seen this actually happen. Every time I've looked by points, it would be a 1:1 equivalent--for example, if the list price of a flight is $100 (cash), the miles required would always be around 10,000 miles as mileage equivalent. Honestly the information presented does not present anything credible to what I've seen trying to do the same thing, and I've flown a lot.
You are probably using your credit card’s travel portal. They usually will give you 1 cent for every point. Transfer your Chase or Citi points out of your account to Singapore Airlines
one big and boring ad.
So awesome! Thank you Kara n Nate for your wonclerful vicleo. heers!
