Trying out a new camera arm which is great for doing top down filming, so o decided to perform a cpl of patterns on the OP-Z #opz #teoperator #teenageengineering
I love the high contrast between highs and lows. Excellent ride! I think you've achieved Jedi status by having an approval from the amazing Red Means Recording! Perhaps we should call you OP-Z Konobi?
@@MichaalHell Btw did you do this all "just" on the OP-Z? I mean it has a sampler and accepts midi, so just wondering if it was all done on it without using any external hardware?
@@umZedaesquina yeah this was all done on the OP-Z, everything programmed and played from the OP-Z, no external hardware was used in any step of creating this.. also just recorded to my phone and then joined with the video in a video app.
@@MichaalHell Even more impressive!! Really great set...crazy to think it was all done on the OP-Z, but it's a great showcase of it's capabilities and your talent! Keep em coming!!!
@@umZedaesquina thanks man! Really appreciate it! I felt like I really unlocked the OP-Z when I embraced its shortcomings and instead try to work around them.. the Z isn’t perfect, but it’s a lot of fun and that’s enough for me 😊
I did “an album in a day” a few years ago. ua-cam.com/video/jzdU1QK1Y8Q/v-deo.html But I had to start over a couple of times, since I forgot which button was which :)
Hey Michael any chance I could pay you for some lessons. Especially the Sophie like sounds you were making on octatrack. I tried your tips in the elektronauts thread and wasn’t getting similar results. Thanks!
Hi, No man, don’t have to pay. I can make a more detailed video about how I make those sounds. I’ve been thinking about doing a tutorial but I wasn’t sure anyone was interested.
The arm is really handy, makes filming so much easier! The display thing or is a Uv meter/Osciloscope from Digdugdiy He has a Etsy store and this pops up there from time to time.
Rad work
Thank you kindly mr.Recording!

I mean, thanks 😆! I’ll take OP-Z Kenobi any time although maybe that title isn’t fully justifiable on me 😄
Darth Hellqvist then
@@MichaalHell Haha. You make pretty special stuff with these and seem to understand them well. :D
Great tunes you make!
holy crap this was amazing!!!!
Thank you, glad you liked it!

So good! Just.. wow!
Thank you 😊
Super nice Michael. This reminds me that I should do a full set again. Was years ago.
You definetly should it’s a lot of fun to practice playing continuously for a longer period of time

Nice. I need to get a camera arm setup, too ... really need to get my entire studio in order! What's the little display gizmo in the upper right?
