Love to see how other people totally utilize the full capabilities of this bike. So many of us in the US forget it's not "all or nothing" for bike performance. The VX300 is a small "Adventure Bike", so will never replace the true dual sport or dirt bikes. But that doesn't mean it can't tackle some truly challenging terrain - it simply means we have to be more conservative when we ride. I love my VX300 and wouldn't trade it for the world. It's light enough for my 5'4" self to pick up, sits short enough that I can get my toes on the ground, is powerful enough to go up rough hills, and is fast enough to keep up with interstate traffic. It's not the best at any one of these, but is the best at being a well-rounded small bike. This video does it justice! Look forward to watching more of Half Mag adventures.
Three years ago, after 15 years in Phuket, moved to my wife’s village in NE, sold the boat. At 72 bought a 300X, three years later and 57,000kms later, loving it exploring Thailand, best move ever. Main positive finding, I can drop it, which I have done when off-roading, and can pick it up again without extra help.
Loved the video ! I’ll be getting one this spring . I’m 80 yrs. old ,been riding for 64 years , and been waiting for this bike since I started riding . I sold my XT250 & 1800 Goldwing last year .
Hey Jim, I'm 70 and recently bought one. Can't tell you how much I'm enjoying both on and off the pavement. I strongly suggest putting on some 50/50 tires. I love hearing from guys that are older than me. You are my gauge and inspiration.
Awesome guys. I am age 67 and have a number of bikes yet but am very impressed with the videos and what I have read on the Versys 300. Keep on riding fellas. God Bless you.
My 67 years is not alone! Been many miles coast to coast & Canada on my trusty ST. Saw this little guy at the dealer, sits nice, and suddenly I want it. Salesman looked at me like "why do you want that toy"? I think because I sometimes miss my KLR and it just screams fun.
Yea, good girl! I really like my X-300 Versys also! Street only, lots of modifications and yes freedom at 68 years old. This old man does not need 80 HP, rev it, loves 7-9 grand, have fun! Great video! Thanks!
Fantastic journey and fantastic bike, I want to buy one kawasaki versys x 300 to make a travel from Colombia to Chile, now I see this small bike can do this travel without problems, thanks for the video.
I sold my bikes because I thought I was to old ! Big mistake. I took my bike to an upholstery shop and they did my seat to my requirements-$80 . I also added Mosko Moto 40 soft bags , a skid plate, Bark Busters , with shorty levers. I’ll change the tires to more aggressive when they’re more worn down. I recently returned from a 1000 mi. trip and have to say, I love it! I’m sure the xt250 will outperform it in the dirt , but this bike is better for the highway . I also added crash bars , aux. lights & a electric reception plug .
I did the same thing and bought my bike after motorcycle safety course. I went to DMV to take my written exam, and on my way in a CHP officer told me "You better pass that test or your not riding out of the parking lot" sure enough he was waiting outside and I showed him my new temporary license and he just smiled. Of all bikes I've owned my 2012 650 Versys is the best!
1:50 clear point for the versys x300, an average thin woman could drop it and lift it with control, case closed, you can't do that as easily with your 650's, let alone the 1200+.
Cool & suitable for touring, with a 300 cc engine capacity including lightweight, compared to the 1000 version or BMW GS 1200 Adventure. Of course this motorbike becomes more fuel efficient and can reduce the cost of long trips.
I got a Versys-X 300 back in October because I was disgusted with trying to handle my Tiger 800XCA off-road. This little bike is AWESOME!! Don't let it's appearance or lack of suspension travel fool you. This thing is a beast off-road. Just give the suspension about 500-600 miles to soften up and you'll be set. Until then, it's a bit harsh. BTW, what music is that on the video? I really like it!
I ride this bike for a year, love it. The seats are a bit harder than the similar bikes in this range, but it only hurts when you have a very long ride. You can always get an after marker soft support for the seat. A light adventure style bike is the one that you are looking for the off-road.
Such great sceanery.. Im new to advernture bikes.. thought of getting a bnelli trk 251.. but know im rethinking of versys.. 🤔 anyway mayy i know name of the piano score.. thank you
Great video! So what's the Versys300 like as a lite weight adventure bike? Strongly considering up-grading to one. Sub your channel. Look forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing. Well done.
Peter D i haven't seen a 1200 GS in person, and it didn't look gigantic to me, so that's why i thought it was a smaller GS. By the way, I've become the owner of a Versys x300 :D i love that bike.
OMG - I can't believe that place exists - stone age! Absolute dirt based economy. Plain ol' Mother of Jesus. And your vid is a first for that style, btw!

Jim.. I'll be selling my CRF250L and grabbing this bike in the spring as well. I hope I can ride it until I'm 80 - John Paquette.

Awesome bike..little engine but with great potentiality...well done Kawasaki, i love YOU.
Video stupendo, viaggio magnifico e moto favolosa. Grazie !

Young lady needs to lift it properly - get a hernia like the old men. Do it right - and it won't fight. You can look it up!
Also clear point you don't need a fortune to be happy traveling on your bike.
Great video.
I’ve got a Versys 1000, amazing bike but the 300 looks like handling an powerfull. The girl can ride it very well. Great video ! Go Kawasaki !

Fabulous! Really gorgeous film.
perfect video!!!!!
Beautiful footage! Congrats! This video makes me want more this versys for offroad adventures. 👊👏

Rob G Thanks for the info on the suspension. But how do you find the seat? I 've heard it is extremely hard.

how's the versys doing?
Congratulations for the trip! very cool!

How did it go? I'm planning a trip to Alaska from Argentina with a versys 300 also, but I'm not sure if it's a good motorcycle for that.
Outstanding video!
Fantastici.

Love tour trip. Possible to share tours tracks Thank's
Lovely vid really.
espectacular!
De cuantos kilómetros recorridos estamos hablando???
video stupendo, mi iscrivo volentieri ;)
Awesome. What tires did the versy have?
Que bien se comporta en Ripio!!! ¿Que cubiertas llevan?
How do you maintain the chain over this sandy terrain?
Do you think the crash bars are really necessary ?
Nice video. What tires you use in this trip? I have also x300 and want to by some off road tires .
Versys300x or royal enfilend Himalayan.Which one better?
Huseyin Zara consider cost , repair cost , dealer locations , longevity and I think you will be choosing the x300
I kept telling people they don't need the versys 1000 or 650 the 300 is good enough hell. Revzilla made it to Alaska on 125cc honda monkeys lol
so cool
Beware ( I have a versys ) the 300 engine is very thrashy, I hate it but it performs well but need ear plugs.
Great video! Besides the tires, did you make any modifications to make it more offroad capable?
Great video! So what's the Versys300 like as a lite weight adventure bike? Strongly considering up-grading to one. Sub your channel. Look forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing. Well done.
Which tires did you use on this trip?
The Versys held up well? Awesome video!
❤❤❤❤❤
What's the stark difference between versys 250 and 300😭Only the 250 non ABS available in Malaysia 😓😤
Can u put knobbies on the bike?
soooo jealous....
Kawasaki 💎
She must have great legs standing and riding .
Dude, did you not see the donkey guy warning you!
No spare tyres?
The tyres have tubes. Why spare tyre then?
I thought it had tubeless ones. :o
A trip in Morocco in less than 5 minutes?! WTF
Enjoyed your video. Really like the Versys. I'm only 1.72metres tall. Will I struggle with the seat height?
iniakpmarc28
I have the Versys X and have no problem with the seat height. I am 1.74 m tall.
I have a 29” inseam & no problem with seat height .
so, did the versys x come with lowering kit?
how many km with the fuel consumption?
full tank 17 l around 300 driving normally
More like 400/450
@@lorenzopedrotti7471 Depends on the road profile and riding style. This bike is great in my book.
@@bebbuinc7611 that was my average consumption. On perfect pavement

2:50 looks sucks to ride behind her
''Looks like it sucks to ride behind her''
Well, the other bike was a 800cc.
I could tell the way she moves, she enjoys taking it in the ass.
Is that a G 650? I wonder which bike is the one you guys enjoy riding the most between those 2.
Peter D i haven't seen a 1200 GS in person, and it didn't look gigantic to me, so that's why i thought it was a smaller GS.
