- hey ya'll! I just purchased a Whirlpool Washer and Dryer for the first time in 13 years. I am very excited to show you my Whirlpool Washer. This is the first time I've washed in my Whirlpool washer and I take you through how to use it, the first settings I chose and how it washed. The model number for my Whirlpool washer is : WTW4816FW3

Ooo, the new washing machine looks so nice!! 😍🙌🏻 I actually love doing laundry, so that’s so exciting 🫢 I hate when laundry turns out all crunchy, so I would’ve re-washed all that too🤣 The 30-minute quick wash looked great 😍🙌🏻 So nice that not too much water was still in there at the end 😄 Can’t wait to see the dryer! 🫢

@@KathyMLifestyle thanks for your videos. Please don’t use fabric softener. The repairmen say it gums up the washer and makes it not work. The chemicals in it are not good for your skin either.
I got mine and I got hooked up around 7:00 last night my son did it for me it's phenomenal I love it

My washer doesn't have the agitator. I hate it because my whit clothes are not coming out clean

I purchased this washer 3 years ago and had it serviced three times in one month. I've had nothing but trouble trying to use it. I have the home heating protection plan and they're working with me as mush as they can. From some of the comments about this washer , it's clear, it's a factory defect and Lowe's should stop selling them. No one should have to consider replacing a washer that was purchase new three years ago(.2021).
Hey! I'm curious if your new washer has spots on the bottom of the drum that looks like the porcelain has been chipped off in a couple spots? I bought 2 of these same washers and both of them had a couple small chips in it. Basically in the same spot!
My washer is exactly five days old and the sensor is messed up. Have to wait a week for the repairman.
We just got this set today and it took 2 hours to dry a small load of clothes?? Did yours take that long???
Hi good video. Did you have to change settings at all like put to rinse and dry?
I usually just leave it on one rinse. Once it is on and running the cycle I don't mess with it.

I just got mine today and went back to my local Lowe's to complain and got a personal house call from one of the salesmen. He figured it out. To me - the start button should only need to be preseed once. LOL. Thank you for this video 🙂
You press the start button after you have put the detergent and clothes in and have closed the lid not prior. Thus you only need to press it once.
I just gone one today paid $618 for the washing machine and it's really quiet.
Does this washer cycle through wash, rinse, and spin dry automatically? The one i purchased stops and I have to move the dial and push start on each cycle.

Thanks for the video. I got the identical washer about 10 days ago. When washing towels or sheets, the tub vibrates like crazy. It replaces a washer I had for 16 years, but I doubt this one will last through the warranty. You mentioned a hassle with Lowes. I'll spare you the details of what I went through with them due to their using 3rd party delivers.
This one replaced my 13 year old washer, I hope it lasts!
I agree with you! This is replacing my 17 year old washer. I don't feel like it will last very long, but I am praying. Who wants to keep replacing a washing machine.
@@ecleticmamaHi, my daughter has this machine and the salesman at Lowe's said that today's appliances only last somewhere between 5 and 12 years! I totally believe that because they don't make anything the way they used to!

I have same, it doesn't spin to drain unless i change the cycle knob and press start again. I also don't like that when i use liquid detergent (the pods kept getting stuck to clothes and basically melting on to them), you can't rinse the cup out because the water won't run while the lid is open. Anyone else using liquid detergent have same problem?
My washer stays on the wash cycle even after its supposively done. I've onlt seen it flash from cycle to cycle twice. I don’t like it and pkan to return it. My wash cycle is taking over an hour. How can that be energy efficient?

I like putting my liquid tide detergent while the water is filling then add clothes. So this was helpful since you're using pods

@@tedcorey3054True, so I open and close the lid a few times and make sure there's some water b4 adding the close. I also use baking soda, vinegar and borax to get extra soft fresh laundry.
Just got one today...read on the instructions to just drop clothes in and not Layer them (been layering for years)...

You put it on the bottom just like a pod.
I bought this MODEL today. I sure hope you can use powdered detergent ! And not just the detergent pods! On my old whirlpool I waited until the tub was full of water 💧 before adding the powdered detergent! I hope this model you can do the same!
You just add powder at the bottom, then add your clothes and start it

I just got this washer a few days ago. Are you still liking yours? What settings do you typically use for a full load? Do you use deep wash or leave it on auto-sensing?
I use auto sent for everything and I run everything on quick wash because the other washes take forever and I feel like it’s wasting a ton of water
Have you tried soak cycle? Does it soak and then automatically wash or what?
Just looked and don’t seem to have a soak cycle on mine

I found what to use soak for! It is for heavily soiled fabrics, there is no spin to it, when it is done the washer drains and is done. If you want to spin it, you need to follow it up with a drain and spin cycle.

I had a Whirlpool for over 30 years and no repairs! Until the last year. But she is an old gal and needed replaced. So I just purchased a new Whirlpool. I want to send it back! It does not fill up. I am vexed. Why? Still looking for answers. Not very happy.
same here. the old whirpool lasted over 20 years and now this new model cant clean clothes at all like the old one. very dissapointed

The washer is not filling up with the deep wash nor the auto sensing. Based on the comments, I too feel like this was the worst appliance purchased ever.
I second that! My grandson recently purchased this model, not happy with it. Horrible!
Press the FAUCET button for more water. You have to be able to catch it while it's filling up to add the extra water on the faucet feature. It's a royal pain in the butt but at least I do have the option of adding water, whereas the old one that I had did not have that option. I hate energy star washers!!!

How does it sound during the sensor part?
I hate this washer. I have it in my apartment and the water level is so low and agitator barely moves. It doesn’t mix the soap around. No dispenser. It frustrates me.
The reason lights are blinking in your video but not in reality: LED lights are actually blinking all the time, but the human eye can't detect that. If the cycling of the LEDs is not quite the same as your camera, the blinking will be visible

My old GE lasted 35 years. I got my whirlpool a few days ago and it was not fulling because my water pressure was to low so i had to install a pump to get it to full and work. I dont like this machine.
I do not have a pre-soak or a soak button on my whirlpool.
The max time that I can soak very soiled clothes is 60 min. What crap is this?

This machine is terrible. The grease stains stil remain even with heavy soil which takes out the clothes color instead of grease or oil stains
