- Take a look at the Astro 3018 digital tire inflator we picked up for the workshop this week. I've had one of these at my day job shop for the last year and it has been a fantastic piece of equipment for us. Mine is two years old. Works good for DIY usage. The chuck doesn't always stay sealed good on valve stem and will have to be pushed on harder or held with hand. The lighted background only stays on for 10 seconds but the digital numbers will stay on for 90 seconds when finished using it. IMO the chuck attachment should be more secure and the lighted background should stay on for at least 20 seconds.

AstroAI makes many models of gauge and filler/gauge combos. Make sure you get the BLUE '3018' model, it is the gold standard for measuring tire pressures. It even works as a stand-alone gauge if it is removed from the air supply hose. How do I know?
My mechanic let me take it out to my car to test against another gauge I brought with me for this purpose. My Longacre dial gauge reads about 1/4psi higher than the AstroAI 3018, so that's good enough for me!
It works great, the air chuck definitely leaves something to be desired tho.
how does it turn off
it has a 20 second or so timeout.
i just bought mine but wont turnnoff ita wierd the numbers keep moving

Since there is no OFF button, it will turn itself off in 90 seconds. The backlit light will stay on for 10 seconds and then you will have to hit button again for 10 more seconds.
