  • LiquiPowder allows you to apply powder coating to surfaces and parts that you could not do before. Apply to wood, plastic, glass, ceramic, metal and already powder coated surfaces and more. Apply with a wet spray gun, a paint brush or even a toothpick to repair areas that have been damaged in the powder coated surface.

    Why not just use water instead of this "water-based liquid" of yours? All you're doing is creating "mud" (50/50 liquid/powder mixture), then letting the liquid evaporate, which leaves the powder residue behind on the part. I can't imagine that the liquid would need any special properties beyond the properties of plain water to do that. Regular mud (water and soil mixture) does that naturally.

      adding just water will do exactly what you describe mud... the power doesn't mix , it basically just floats on water.... get repelled when suspended in just water.... you need the extra additives

      I suspect that the solution should be a mixture of distilled water with some sort of a bonding agent/glue, the Glue bonds the paint to the target surf, but the glue should evaporate when it is heat treated by the heat gun...I guess!

    Using a heat gun will make the part turn out like stick welding over rust. It will look ok then fail like a Chinese made product. Take the time to do it right and farm out your part if it doesn't fit in your oven. Stop being so cheap.

      Yeah, American made products NEVER fail. So, how many American astronauts died when the Chinese made Space Shuttle Challenger exploded??

    Now, you have a better choice! Teck-line’s canned earth water. No more dirty Indian earth water or expensive, homosexual French earth water...This canned water is clean, organic, locally-sourced earth water from right here in the good ole U.S. of A. Simply mix the specially formulated water with any powder, and you will have instantly transformed it, cuz of science, into a liquidy, muddy, pasty stuff that you can brush onto objects. Get yours today!

    Why couldn't this same exact process be done with an electrostatic gun? Iv used a heat gun on large parts numerous times.

      How did you go about grounding it . I have a aluminum console for a boat I had built that has been powdercoated had to remove a cup holder for the throttle box since my builder failed to think about that. How would i go about doing this with nothing to ground the powder to could o just dust it on or somthing?.

    This is surely an interesting powder coating method covering up the intricate corners where big equipments cannot even reach. Good work.

    This is completely pointless and a waste of time. Hence the reason it's not used by anyone who cares about quality or eliminating unnecessary steps. Feather in the surrounding surface, heat it back up, and hot flock your part. Faster, cheaper, better quality finish. Shame on you.

    Hmmm.. pretty neat.... I just want to note out that you will not be able to smooth out anything w/ this product.. you will still see where you tried to repair the sag. Also dont make it sound like powder just falls of if a part is bumped... access powder might but the part will be fine.

    🤣🤣 ridiculous! if at any point you watch this and think it makes sense. It doesn't! A heat gun is just silly. 2 hours to dry then around another potentially 2 hours to cure depending on part size and metal thickness! If it ever cures which is debatable. In that time i could key, clean, re-prime then recoat almost and job ive ever done in the last 12 years of doing this job 8+ hours a day 5 days a week. Just silly

      SnowWolfJones heating with a heat gun will never cure your powder correctly. And you must wait until the liquidpowder mixture is completely dry or you will get many imperfections. it will never match the powder that was applied correctly.

      Richard Burnett yeah, i kinda thought so. at some point this summer i want to build my own powder coating setup to work on my bike over the winter. the oven is going to be the tricky part being that i don't have any 220 outlets in my garage, but i've seen people build just a well insulated cabinet with a hot plate in the bottom. works well if done right, just takes longer to heat up.

    • @jaymeduncan747
      @jaymeduncan747 4 роки тому

      Key it up, patch prime it then have at it definitely quicker re-coating most things, the only time i would see this application being useful is on things that cant be moved, but even that its a total waste of time. Break out the wet gun. No useful application in the real world. Just another way to do a process thats already perfect in the right hands. As soon i seen the heat gun i was done 😆
