Thanks for explaining. I have been trying to figure out what it is I’d found yesterday - such a short clump of tiny flowering grass. Now that I look closer at the photo I snapped, I realize that it must have been mowed over at some point this spring. Will definitely transplant it.
This is exactly what happened to me today. I was out back and happened to see pretty little flowers grow out of that odd “grass weed thing.” I snapped a pic and found out it’s not a “grass weed thing” at all! I’m gonna transplant some to my front beds.
Thank you for this video! It was exactly what I was looking for after discovering the blue flowering grass and wondering what it was! I was going to weed-whack them but glad I came across your video, which by the way, is very well done, to the point and short. I am curious to know what the yellow flowering plant in your video is? Am assuming the shrub in the center is native oakleaf hydrangea.
Was each of those clumps one single plant last year? I dug three of them up from my parents property and put them in my garden, close together. Is this what will happen to me next year? Should I have spread them apart?
🥦🟦 wow! Awesome ❤
Excellent video. ❤ Looking to see one in maturity as what you have.

That is amazing how big they get. I'm so happy to discover them in my yard this year. I transplanted them where they can thrive
