I believe that i have this,it was in what i call the meadow and i moved some up to my house and it has done very well, the slender greenery does look tiny slender iris foliage, tbanks for identifying it❤
I'm in Central Pennsylvania, and I'm seeing this now at the end of May. There was a field near me where a very large area was filled with a whole bunch of it, everywhere in the whole field. I went there to look for it today, but either it bloomed already and it's gone, or else it hasn't started yet. I successfully dug some up and had it in my garden a couple years ago, but had to get rid of it because I was in a place where I wasn't allowed to have a garden. I will get it again sometime, but right now, I'm working on the wild strawberries. I have tons of those around me, and they transplant really well, and they spread all over the place.
Thanks for watching. You are fortunate to have such beauty around you. I am sorry you may not have a garden where you live. This is too common today! Enjoy your wild strawberries. Best wishes, Horace
Hi Horace, I found blue eyed grass in my backyard today. So glad for the nature lesson. Quick question - there seem to be some “tufts” waving in the wind right next to the grass, is it part of the blue eyed grass or something else?
The immature blossoms may look like tufts waving in the wind. But this would not look like fuzzy tufts. Without a photograph of what you discovered, I cannot say for sure. Glad you found this very pretty little plant! Best, Horace

Glad to hear you successfully transplanted some of this uncommon grass. Thank you for support and comment. Best, Horace
