When I add a .png to krita, the checkered background stays. So it doesn't blend in like the krita.png u used in this. Any advice?

heya buddy, yeah. I understand, sometimes the png will actually have a checkered background on it. This is what I call a "fake png", they're very misleading. You have 2 options, either you find another png, or something I recently found out, is when you search for a picture, just under the search bar, click "tools", then click "colour", then click "transparent" Those will all have no background on them. The krita logo was transparent when you imported it , could you make anything look transparent in krita like that e.g. glasses lenses ? But to do that I would need to have multiple separate layers for both frame and lenses ? I'm extremely new to this and this is first thing that popped in my mind while watching video .
