The sound might be gone but basically, that part shows how to get back all the tools by removing the 'tools group' in the newest version of GIMP.
For opening GFX or any other PhotoShop files with Gimp, rename the ".psd" extension to ".xcf" for GIMP to recognize the file, or else it won't work.
when i open the core pack its not showing the effects and how to rename it

So not using the exact pictures but trying to follow along...the second picture seems to automatically attack to the first background image without me dragging...and that second photo does not get a separate layer icon at the top. Then when I resize that second photo...it doesn't get smaller. I see a box that shrinks down...but the photo itself stays the same size. Kind of lost.
Make sure you select the correct layer before you try to move around/reseize an image. Sometimes with a lot of images on the canvas you can click and move and it will move/edit something you may not want. Hope this helps!
I pressed ctrl+space and now I'm in a screen that I can't get out of where it doesn't show the tools, layers, brushes, only the canvas
Sorry for the late reply but you can reset to the default window positions in the preferences menu. Go to edit and then on the left you should see "Windows Management" click on that and there should be a option to reset the positions :)

@@awesomedaysgaming739 make sure that when you download any PhotoShop GFX pack, you rename it to ".xcf" as the file extension, or it won't open with Gimp.

nothing is working to enlarge the picture, it will not fill the canvas no matter what i do, either from tool bar or image settings or cropping or scaling or moving it will not get bigger

It dosent let me open the core pack even after I made xcf. It gives me this error: Opening '/home/user/Downloads/CORE PACK.xcf' failed: GIMP XCF image plug-in could not open image

You mean the laser eyes that I added? Make sure the image you download is a PNG file not jpeg. Hope that helps!
