He dug trenches ti keep the water in the ditches and not on the road so much. When he said lone wolf I thought of you. There is a lone wolf mountain in North Carolina. He has some good shows. I have five channels that are my favorite and your one of the five. It was nice to see your wife again. Earlier when I watched a video where it rained. Boomer is really growing. I too suffer from neuropathy….and that’s exactly what it feels like…hard for those who don’t have it to understand and I get that….I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia several years ago and that’s another pain. One of the many reasons why I enjoy these videos so much…get to see a lot of different places and see so many different ways of camping and enjoying the outdoors. And gotta love Boomer..adds something to it! Take care..

In West NY (where my cabin is, and even NYC where I live) the mosquitoes are usually gone by fall; surprised you said they were out. That's the main appeal to cold weather camping for me: no bugs!

I really like your videos, especially the work you put in to make the photography interesting and willingness to be uncomfortable. I have watched them since Covid hit, and some older ones, however, I guess my attention span is getting shorter, maybe it is Covid being mostly over, as I now have to skip ahead at times to get through them. Seems the younger folks don't have that issue though.

Hi 🙋🏾 everyone, hey I wonder if there is a doggy camp chair with foldable legs that's about 4-5 inches off the ground for Boomer 🤔... this way when it gets even colder while camping he can sit/lay on it while you're getting things set up 🤷🏿... Hello. I ALWAYS have cordage and a tarp at easy access Incase you caught in a quick thunderstorm. You can put a tarp over a small tree very quickly to stop from getting wet. Staying dry is one of most important things even in warm temps. Wet clothes will wick away all your heat quickly
Great video as always... Did you tried rolling and bending that tent just like civil war soldiers did, only that instead of over the shoulder, attached over the backpack and the sides...? It worked for me for many reasons : 1. Easier to pack and unpack it. 2. If it's wet, the drops drains by the ends, and it dryes faster than packed into it's bag. 3. It prevents the "map folding holes" and so you extend the life time of the tent. 4. If any animal piss any side of the tent you don't contaminate the inner part of the backpack and all the gear within. 5. You can live the matterss inside and as you roll it tight it deflates, and so tha same benefits you get with the mattress (extend the life time, that hustle to wrapping, folding and packing, etc.) 6. This method not only works with tents you can do it with tarps, hammoks and all peeces of gear made out of fabric. Cheers dude... PD : Rusty it's aliiiiiiiiive...!!! 🐿
