When all the tunes we know from the twentieth century have been forgotten - this one will still be sailing into the hearts of people hundreds of years from now - something supernatural about it.
I was on a ferry over the Bay of Biscay as a sixteen year old when I first heard it back in 1967 - it still brings tears to my eyes and I just don’t know why this should be or happen. ‘The White Goddess’ I suppose. What on earth happened at the party that night? And was ‘Harem’ the cat watching closely what went on? Or was it somewhere else? Or the party? And was it Harem that took things up to eternity? Somehow? Or not?
Ah somewhere dissolved from bones into the physis is the image of the little jaws of the little head that knew the answers to these questions and never told.......! So sad..........

Excellent arrangement, love the bass lines (Probably because they are easy to follow lol), this reminds me that I can still read music although I mostly play by ear now. love it.

Wow wat schitterend zo heerlijk om naar te luisteren dit is 1 van mijn favorieten zit met mijn ogen gesloten om goed de noten en de klank in mij op te nemen ik heb zelfs kippevel haha . Het komt altijd goed binnen dan want ik kan dan andere geluiden goed van mij afsluiten en .
Echt zo super dank u wel dat u dit allemaal wil delen met ons .

Sehr schöne Variante. Leider kann ich als Klarinettistin das Play along nicht nutzen. Wäre es möglich das ganze noch mal für uns arme b-Bläser einzuspielen? Ich könnte es natürlich auch transponieren. Allerdings wird es dann grifftechnisch für mich zu schwer. Diese Notierung funzt gerade so richtig.
