Something else I like about your country is how even though it's so dry, it's home to quite a few large wild animals.

Water sure is life and it cannot be more clear than in the desert. What a blessing to receive it in such abundance in a place usually so deprived.

It's really nice to see a dry area get a lot of rain. I'm in Southern California on the coast, which is termed Mediterranean, so it's pretty dry about half the year. We've been having a drought for at least 16 years now though and it's just awful. A little bit of rain is supposed to come overnight in the wee hours, I'm looking forward to it.

Water water see the water flow, dancing glancing see the water flow-God made a song when the world was new- water sings it through- the best sound on the planet is the sound of falling rain.

In a dry land this heavy rains do some damage, and bring a sudden richness in nature, maybe crops too.

I'm from Finland - there's always a special place iR my heart for Namibia. I know about Martti Rautanen, I hear there are people in Namibia called MArtti Ahtisaari (our UN ambassador there erlier). Then Namibia had that politian ToivojaToivo - 'Hope and Hope' in Finnish.

they must plant a forest cover and bush cover and use cahuka techn qiue to preserve rainwater and make the barren land use for fruits, agriculture and forest conservation. and it will also help in bringing ecosystem back

That is because there were alot of new trees planet, trees bring the rain back to formerly desert places. plant more trees and there will then be always rain everywhere. 🌱🌳🌦🌧💧
Trees keep the minerals in the ground, plants will grow very well. all africa can then be a food exporteur and people all become wealthy.

What steps can the locals take to hold that water so it penetrates into the ground?
In northern India there arevillages acting to improve their year round soil moisture. This could happen here.
