It's really nice to see a dry area get a lot of rain. I'm in Southern California on the coast, which is termed Mediterranean, so it's pretty dry about half the year. We've been having a drought for at least 16 years now though and it's just awful. A little bit of rain is supposed to come overnight in the wee hours, I'm looking forward to it.
Water water see the water flow, dancing glancing see the water flow-God made a song when the world was new- water sings it through- the best sound on the planet is the sound of falling rain.
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert". Isaiah 43:19
@@olganesterenko4154 Very good to hear. I saw the lilly field - amazing. Just wish the biridges and houses are safe, and that roads can be esily repaired. I'm from Finland - there's always a special place iR my heart for Namibia. I know about Martti Rautanen, I hear there are people in Namibia called MArtti Ahtisaari (our UN ambassador there erlier). Then Namibia had that politian ToivojaToivo - 'Hope and Hope' in Finnish. Hope for Namibia. Like the rain brought
@@timomastosalo Thank you so much for your lovely words! It were not too many damages. Maybe on the video it looks a liitle bit more dangerous but in reality only a few places were affected.
Thank you very much! There are so many photos but not too much video of blooming Namibia everywhere in the interenet. The whole Namibia so so green now. And Etosha pan full of water. It's so amasing!
they must plant a forest cover and bush cover and use cahuka techn qiue to preserve rainwater and make the barren land use for fruits, agriculture and forest conservation. and it will also help in bringing ecosystem back
That is because there were alot of new trees planet, trees bring the rain back to formerly desert places. plant more trees and there will then be always rain everywhere. 🌱🌳🌦🌧💧 Trees keep the minerals in the ground, plants will grow very well. all africa can then be a food exporteur and people all become wealthy.
What steps can the locals take to hold that water so it penetrates into the ground? In northern India there arevillages acting to improve their year round soil moisture. This could happen here.

Thank you for your lovely words!
What a brilliant video...wow! It leaves me speechless to think on what an absolutely amazingly beautiful continent we live in - And how great is God!
What a blessing from God! Wow ...amazing to see!🙏🙏😊🇿🇦
Yes, absolutely adorable and everything so green now
Something else I like about your country is how even though it's so dry, it's home to quite a few large wild animals.
Blessings to the earth from God!
Your film is delightful. Thank you so much.
Thank you very much for your lovely words!
Water sure is life and it cannot be more clear than in the desert. What a blessing to receive it in such abundance in a place usually so deprived.
Yes, absolutely amazing time this year

many modern infrastructures. good !
Have you been here?
For a country with so much desert you’d think more weirs would be built for watering wildlife
Thank you for your comment
In a dry land this heavy rains do some damage, and bring a sudden richness in nature, maybe crops too.
Actually it's amazingly good for Namibia

All that amazing rain is yet another benefit of climate change.
Maybe you're right
No, its because there were alot of trees planet, trees bring the rain back.
@@PIasmaZombie I think you will find there are almost no trees in that particular region.
@@bobjackson4720
Maybe not but in neighbouring regions there are, there have been alot of new trees been plantes.
@@PIasmaZombie I don't think new trees in China and India will do much for southern Africa
I blame climate change for this disaster!
It was not too bad for Namibia. Namibia is a dry country, so it needs a lot of rain
