The thing I love about his videos is that they cover games in my backlog I've long forgotten about, like a refresh course on why I got them in the first place. It's like a friend reminding you to occasionally unplug and go get lost in different adventures. After all we arent gamers b/c we have no life, we are gamers b/c we have many.
NieR: Automata is just special. Completed it twice (getting all the main endings), first in English, then in Japanese. The music is outstanding, it's no coincidence that it has won the best soundtrack award in 2017. Still listening to it from time to time. It was pulling at my heartstrings a couple of times and I was crying towards the end of the credits. It also got me back into reading books! After reading the Pearl Harbor Descent summary, I realised I enjoyed it. So I bought all 3 novels which the game inspired and now reading the Pearl Harbor Descent Record manga series. (And I also bought dozens of other books since then). This game has made a huge impact on my life.
I have to disagree with Yakuza Like a dragon. It feels like the first 5-6 hours are just cutscenes. Definitely took somewhere around 10 hours to hook me.
Yep, exactly what happened with me, after playing from yakuza 0 to yakuza 6 and judgment, 8 RGG games with same combat style, it's too hard to play turn based, but look! it's still worth playing for the story (you can also install mods if you are having trouble grinding and unlock all the cool moves)
This is the 2nd video I've seen recently that says you shoot arrows with a "bao". You don't know what a "bo" is? I know the words are spelled identically, but come on...

Thanks for the comment man! really appreciate you saying this :D
Tell that to my wife

Thank you for this video. I have a lot of these on my backlog after not playing games for about 10 years. Good to know they're still holding up.
Thanks for the appreciation, and you will surely enjoy them! :D
Thank you for starting the video right away! No intro.... headline says it all, lets go 🙂
Haha, Happy you liked that! :D

I was obsessed with metro exodus after first 2 hours, at the start I instantly wanted to drop it because of the mute character
Man, the Metro Series is an absolute banger. The storyline is just as good as the combat!
The no for me is that i have to do stealth and stuff otherwise i cant get the good ending

The Evil Within 2 Is A Masterpiece
I really should finally make time to try Nier Automata...
I couldn't get into nier automata coz of the fighting mechanics but each time a see it I feel like I should give it a go again
Fallout New Vegas definitely fits after the "Quiet town gunfight" quest or Fallout 4 after leaving the vault😊
This is a good list.
Great content , keep it up🔥 🔥
Appreciate it
Nier Automata is 1 of the greatest games of all time
Yakuza LAD combat was such a turn off for me, that it is now the first Yakuza mainline game I have dropped

Nier Automata is the biggest piece of repetitive dogshit I've ever seen. And most disappointing game in whole PS4 era

I Did Not Like Metro Exodus. I think the first two games are much better.
