Good luck with the results. Got my class 1 retest on Thursday crapping me self. I know I can do it but right turn on roundabout is my nemesis
Fair play to you Hayley , once again proving the golden rule "Never leave any job on bad terms" . Best of luck with your exam results too
Burton on Trent! Yayyy! My home town
Good luck. Get an excellent accountant and claim for everything !!!
Fingers crossed for you Hayley
Supprised you didn't go for a blast on the bike Hayley that would have cleared the head . Best of luck sweetheart from one old driver to a young one
Well done Hayley I think you will be a great HGV INSTRUCTOR but please keep driving because the more different types of lorry u drive will help you when u become a HGV instructor.I’m so proud of you because you’re like a sponge 🧽 you thrive on knowledge please take care and stay safe ❤️
Good luck Hayley 👍 it's great to see you back.all.the best to you.
When you have held your class 1 licence for three years, you can become an instructor without any kind of formal training in how to teach someone to drive a HGV. Personally I think it should be a legal requirement that all instructors undergo some form of accredited training and it also explains why my first instructor was totally shite.
Good old K Transport coming to the rescue! They obviously like you and you appear to be reasonably comfortable working for them! Hope all went well with the exams!
👍
Well done Halley. I take my c+e driving test on Thursday. I so hope i pass.
Welcome back, we missed you 😘.
A great testament to character; with leaving a company on very amicable terms, and same to the company, 👍 K Transport.
MDR look like a other great company you've found 👍.
Bit sneaky on those "cheap shot" questions, never heard that term before, a USA import maybe.
Hope you beat the lurgy soon?, and do well in the exams. 😊 thanks for sharing 👍.
Best regards John from the Black Country.
Hayley, very informative video. I had an aversion to exams which became an aversion to post-its! I guess I was sure of myself once I had understood the problem. Hope all goes well for you.
Good luck with your venture Hayley
Great job got my fingers crossed for you but I'm sure you will do great
🚛👍
Hope you’ve nailed the Pass Hayley, good to see you back at Kays, albeit temporarily, sorry if my comment on that “negative Video” was a contributor to their filming ban, to be fair though, their policy on docking pay for menial damage does need revising, anyway, that’s the past, so happy to see you chasing your goals! You’ll be a fab instructor, I’m sure Billy would love to have you alongside Fran 😁
Passed my c+e today. Thanks for your videos
Can't reverse in bay do u lean right out of the window
Hi Hayley might be a silly comment/question this but are most hgv drivers paid weekly, do you know of any companies that pay monthly... Just a question not sure if anyone else can answer this question either welcome too... Keep up the vids
Good luck to you Hayley👍🏼 let's hope that 6 weeks flies by. Instructing would probably suit you....once a teacher, always a teacher eh? Would give you time to do a bit of freelance too, hopefully. Hope you are feeling better now👌👍🏼
hope you pass it Hayley, yeah they do put quite a few herrings in the exams, like when doing my lgv practice, I found from the study book that there was like 5 different ways of wording a question to try tripping the candidate up. and yes the calculator could very easily trip someone up working from pounds to pence, especially in the pressure of an exam or time limit. most of the examples here were pretty easy when you think about it for a second, but that is without the pressure of having to pass an exam, and trying to remember so many other questions trying to trip you up. and the one about the how many hours can a double manned crew drive a truck for, would trip most people up unless they think of the actual driving time limits, and if they aren't already a driver, or surrounded knowing the driving rules then it could be a failed question so easily. as far as I am aware then when it comes to interupted rest like moving a vehicle off the ferry, then you are allowed to do that, and not count as long as interupted rest as long as the vehicle isn't moved for more than 10 minutes, cant remember if it still counts as driving time though, or whether it is classed as other work. so think that would make me stumble a bit as well.
garlic is the best for fall down colds, had one back in 95, and within 30 minutes of eating food I walked to the garage and back which was about a 10 minute walk each way, plus no sniffles. yet the cold was so bad had to hold onto walls and bannisters at the same time just to get downstairs, and it had cleared it completely, admittedly it was 2 heads of garlic me and the other lads that I was sharing a house with had in the meal. but definately the best cure I have ever found, the cold had litterally cleared in minutes.
and when garlic is way cheaper than cough medicine, or nearly anything claiming to be for colds, then definately worth the try. plus you won't need a top up after a few hours, as it will cure the cold nearly instantly, ok not safe for kissing or whatever, with the smell, but stop the cold dead in it's tracks.
Hello Hayley, You are organised and have it all thought out. I'm glad you found some part-time employment. I hope the result is in your favour and that you can settle as a CPC holding Transport Manager and HGV Driver Trainer
Good luck Hayley fort I hadn’t seen you on the onboard truck

It’s your life you do as you please don’t worry what other people say
Hi Hayley, well done on your exams and the training. Good to see you back at that firm. I’ve just started my workshop training this week before I take my theory, so happy days. Keep up the good work 👍
That's one of the plus points where i am at the moment....i'm left alone to get on with the job with no interference from the office
Hi Hayley, just to give you the heads up, Pet's at Home are opening a brand new , and it's massive National Distribution Centre, at Stafford North M6 J14, towards the end of the year. . Lot of opportunities, maybe one has your name on it. 🤔
When I took my mangers cpc 3 years ago the trick question was plan a route and costing , leave depot at Birmingham head to Leeds to load , ferry from Hull to Rotterdam, to Venlo , the route and costing was for the round trip and lots of people just double the outbound mileage to work costing out , but failed cos they said return to base , so mileage was less cos of no Leeds involved straight back to Birmingham, the trouble was once mileage was wrong loads of more questions based on that answer were wrong too , you must like you say read the questions then read them again lucky I saw it and passed but there was a lot in the in the room who didn’t cos of that question and the other questions based on it
Well... I drove commercially in the US for almost forty years...Never heard of "Cheap shots"..At least not in this context! Ha. Todd Konoske the retired trucker.
Fingers crossed good luck, hopefully it goes your way, 6 weeks waiting time, keep your self busy it will soon pass.
I wish you the best of luck Hayley and that’s Irish luck ☘️
Good on you Hayley for doing something for you good luck with being self employed and I hope you have passed the transport managers cpc exam until the next vlog you take care of yourselves won't you Hayley
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hello sweetheart, could you please suggest a good LGV sat nav, thanks
Fell asleep during your vlog lol. I am a retired hgv driver and I think instructors should have years of experience to pass on to trainees. Not sure about newbie’s like you. Just my take on training like.
Completely agree. Her reversing still needs some work.
Training's different nowadays As you know. Drivers CPC to pass for a start. It's tough for the old geezers too. As for digitacho's... Years of experience, yes if have them fantastic
yet still got to pass some exams :(
@@Paul-dv4dr exactly mate I would say most old school truckers wouldn’t pass the theory test now days
🤞you will pass with flying colours Hayley I'm sure you have found you future path now and keeping your hand in doing casual work is a good idea
