We haven't found a suitable 3rd party upgrade yet. Mainly because of the unique heatsink configuration on the T5820. We plan to explore some of the Noctua heatsinks in the near future.
i had the same issue. apparently is was a change in the newer drivers. its definitely a supported card if you downgrade one driver level at a time until it hits that magic version. this process might be time consuming but thats the conclsusion that allowed me to get mine working
They fairly quiet depending on how you use them. For example: we edited and rendered a few videos and the t5820 was almost silent. We then ran some graphic and cpu intensive games, and we could definitely here fan noise trying to keep the system cool. Nothing crazy though. Thanks for commenting!
Thanks a lot for the video, a lot of those will be used for gaming in the future when companys sell them after 3 years of use, so you video is ahead of the time :-) The chassis is usually build for blower style GPU that exhaust heat themself. Have you played a modern game that uses your 2080ti for more than 10 minutes ? If so, how noisy does it got and how hot in the inside ? Was the 2080ti throttling a lot ?
The T5820 does get pretty warm when running modern games with an RTX 2080 Ti on max settings. A fix to this issue is to purchase a perforated metal side panel. The perforated side panels allow for more heat mitigation as well as the opportunity to add additional fans to the external part of the side panel. We plan on releasing some videos about this in the future. Thanks for commenting!
Where did you add that power adapter? Im trying to install one but i cant find the 6 pin connectors at all. Only thing i can see near the psu is a female 8pin, and another 2 female 8 pin’s on the gpu. Can you please help?

Would the 5820 be able to handle a 3090 and a 2080ti at the same time? I only see two 8 pin connectors wondering if i need to go digging for two more. I have the 950 power supply
A 3090 would work in a T5820 with the 950w psu and some mods on the power rails. The big obstacle is would be finding a version that fits in the chassis.

The T5820 will support Windows 7. You might have trouble loading Windows 7 on to an NVMe M.2 SSD because the driver support to recognize the SSD in the Windows 7 load manager is really bad.

The T5820 only supports an SLI with these cards: RTX 8000, RTX 6000, RTX 5000, GV 100, GP100, P6000, and P5000. www.nvidia.com/en-us/design-visualization/quadro/sli-certified-systems-and-motherboards/

You could probably figure out a way to install 2 x RTX 2080. However, the T5820 won't allow you to configure those cards in an SLI. You'd be better off installing a single RTX 2080 Ti or a Quadro Card depending on what you use the system for.
