Here it is folks! The complete Star Wars Rogue Squadron trilogy game movie, showcasing cutscenes and missions from each game on PC, on Dolphin, in glorious HD, and (for the most part) in chronological order! (What I mean by "the most part", I meant that I took some sections in the chronology in order to make the movie more organized and have better focus on certain characters. For example; the Guns of Dubrillion mission from RS3 is actually set concurrent with the Occupation of Bespin from ESB. I decided to placed that after the ESB section to give a better focus on Wedge Antilles and to make the event feel less cluttered.) This movie also utilizes General_Han_Solo's HD Texture Packs for both RS2 and RS3 on the Dolphin Emulator. Credit goes to him for his amazing achievement.
Missions Excluded:
For pacing/story reasons, i didn't include certain missions, mainly because some don't relate to the overall story. This includes RS1's three bonus missions (which were alternate versions of missions that end up being in RS2), Tatooine Training levels, the Darth Vader missions, the Endurance levels, and CHICKEN at-st cheat code mission from RS1 on the N64.
Credit goes to:
IceStrike256 for letting me provide his videos for RS3 as well as some of RS2. My computer isn't strong enough to run certain sections of those games on Dolphin (especially RS3), so thanks to him this was made possible.
General_Han_Solo for his RS2 and RS3 HD Texture Packs. He brought the graphics of those games to a whole new level and made the movie itself much more cinematic.
Harmy for the Despecialised Editons of both ESB and ROTJ. I consider those to be the best editions of those movies, rather than the so-called "Special Editions".
Adywan for the Revisited Edition of ANH. Although I could've also used Harmy's ANH Despecialized , I consider Revisited to be the definitive for ANH, despite not being in HD yet.

Wow, watching this really brings back memories. Such amazing games. I also think of all those pilots who were so awesome to learn about. They were the real heroes of the rebellion. R.I.P actors who have passed, and thank you Rogue Squadron games for being so awesome. May the Force be with you.
Thanks Man! These are my favorite Star Wars games. And this is one of the proudest videos i have made thus far.
Excellent work bro. Love the little additions from the movies, makes everything flow well together
Thanks! :)
@@CFunk99 14:09~14:40 Father Attack BGM: imperial march
Area Six on the Battle of Endor. Perfect.
wildrook Haha yeah I just had to use that. Me and my brother once played that mission with that theme and it fitted perfectly! (Thoo I think John William's "Into the trap" is an equally good track for that scene).
Why am I discovering this now? This is amazing!!! I can't imagine the work you put into this but what you've done is something no one else has tried.
Haven't made it all the way through but this is so fun!!! I am loving the Movie scenes inside the game scene at the same parts lol.
You mean the little "Star fox heads"? Yeah those were so fun to add :)
Fun fact, throughout much of RS2, the events of Shadows of the Empire with Luke Lando Leia and of course the great Dash Rendar are taking place.
You are a god. Thank you so much for making this and uploading it.
Ive heard so many starfox sounds that I did not recognize when I had the first one wow
i miss the good old times when u had to pay once money for a FULLY COMPLETED game. no dlc, no preorder etc.
Yeah and secrets were in the game for you to find out, by yourself or with your friends. Extra vehicles that blew our minds. The good ol days.
I can tell a lot of love went into this, nice nods to Star Fox, Halo and Republic Commando, my only complaint is that the sound quality from Return of the Jedi onward started to fade in and out, other then that, awesome trilogy of cutscenes :].
Well I think that’s to avoid any copyright issues
@@MrWill9002 correct, and with + Disney is like = asking not to having fun on music
Thanks for uploading this. These were part of the original Star Wars games, legendary forever. Brings back so many good memories :)
If you can please do Battle for Naboo as well :) Thats a good story too
Thanks! These games are my favorite in the Star Wars universe (yes even better then KoToR and Battlefront II!)! As for Battle for Naboo. I'll consider that. Always wanted to try that one out. It either has to released on Steam or GOG so I can record it on Windows 7 64 bit or get a capture card that works on the N64. Maybe I'll even consider putting it in Rogue Squadron Game Movie v2 after General_Han_Solo releases a new version of his HD texture pack.
C.Funk99 Hell yeah! I remember getting a CD back then with all 5: RS, Starfighter, Battle for Naboo, Galactic Battlegrounds and Rebellion. Amazing games, Rebellion and GB had me hooked for years lol.
Awesome! I dont think its on GOG unfortunately, googled it and its up for full free download on another site called isozone (107mb, check for viruses). Maybe you can try that. Cheers man!
1:14:17 Hey wait a second, thats star fox!
Yep.
I was just going to say that.
There's also a mix of Halo 2 and it strangly fits

I remember playing Rogue Squadron when i was a kid on the n64 and wanted to keep flying out of bounds in hopes there was more to the game.
Love rouge squadron
Bring this trilogy to the switch and I’d pay AAA price happily
awesome work and gameplaying/editing tying all the movies and games together
amazing games, such a good childhood
Thank you for putting this together, this has helped me immensely with my research
I wish the Rouge Squadron games can be on the Next Gen Consoles
I need a Rogue Squadron IV
Excellent work, mate.
Amazing work! the best edition of my favorites games!

Deadpool: HEY!!! I'M THE ONLY ONE ALLOWED TO BREAK THE FOURTH WALL AROUND HERE!!!!!!
awesome video dude! my second time watching it.
The Empire would just bomb an entire city to get ONE GUY?
Who does that?
Oh.......
Par for the course throughout history sadly.
The empire did worse than that. They destroyed a planet just for information on one rebel base and at the time that information wasnt even certified.
Really liked the music you put in from the Chandrila mission to the Thyferra mission. Not sure where they're from, but it really adds to the atmosphere.
That music comes from Star Fox, Halo, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, and Star Wars Republic Commando. I just thought it be fun to use music from those. :)
I thought I recognized the SF64 menu music in the briefing screen for Chandrila. Then Corneria starts playing and I'm like WTF. As I've never played the first one, I legitimately thought it was a Nintendo easter egg. Speaking of, wouldn't it be cool to have an unlockable Arwing, Smart Bombs and all, for use in the Rogue Squadron games?
Arwing in Rogue Squadron? I'd LOVE that! :D Too bad there likely won't be another Rogue Squadron game. Sad, they're my favorite Star Wars games ever. :(
C.Funk99
Maybe a remastered version of the trilogy, who knows? It would be a great tie-in with Rogue One, but I doubt the story elements would remain intact now that Disney runs the show.
Rogue Squadron's been re-released, so I'm wondering why Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike haven't.
How I wish Battlefront II (either version) had a mission or two like those of Rogue Squadron.
1k views! Thanks for watching everyone!
hey, some of the cutscenes look weird. are you using an emulator?
1:27:41 woulda hit alot different if he didn't start the Final Mission Accomplished OST 20 seconds early.
Back when Star Wars was great
i love star wars rogue squadron
springtrap star wars fan So do i! Rogue Squadron are my favorite Star Wars games.
@@CFunk99 i hope Nintendo would release a star wars rogue squadron trilogy on switch or maybe rogue squadron 4.
@@CFunk99 hey what happened to some of the audio in this video?
Nice video
Really good stuff. I always have have love for the Rogue Squadron games! -- AT
Thanks! Rogue Squadron 1, 2, and 3 are my favorite Star Wars games ever! :)
My favourite game series of all time great video miss Factor 5 doing Star Wars games
Temuera Morrison as boba Fett
This game movie wasn't that bad. But one thing I didn't like was the slow motion on foot levels, and the video lag/broken footage and the silenced audio nearing the end. But I liked the edition of Star Fox and Halo music just to make the moments epic. So that's my critics and ah's to your movie. No Shame, and good job :)
I’ve always wonder what happened first the. Next in these games. Your video really makes a lot of sense. Thank you
wow. the Ison Corridor looks pretty... different.
kingofmonsters14 I thought the same when I first saw it. That was a result of General_Han_Solo's HD texture pack for both RS2 and RS3 on the Dolphin Emulator.
Hayden christensen as Anakin Skywalker
Factor 5 effect explosions are amazing and realístic
Ah Rogue Squadron…home of the best of the best pilots of the Rebellion/New Republic
Nice
Its a really well made movie, my only problem i have with it is that there are a lot of sound glitches from here and there, sometimes the sound will just mute for like a few seconds. it kinda ruins the imersion of some epic scenes.
Yeah dont know what happened there. Might be rendering or uploading errors or me forgetting something in the editing. But thanks for saying its well made! It was alot of work.

That star fox music at chandrila
I didn't think Star Fox assault music would fit these games. Guess I was proven wrong
Star Fox music was definitely inspired by Star Wars

I want to listen to that amazing non-Midi version of the music you used in you Custom trailer.
It was actually from the trailer for the cancelled "Rogue Leaders" game for Wii, which was meant to put all three games in one compilation with improved graphics.
This is great! I was just wondering, last month what the Chronological Order all the missions fell in. I'm not a fan of this Dolphin Emulator I keep seeing. It makes the star destroyers, Home 1, and Death Star II look terrible. You're kind of a badass at playing these games. And did you use Adywans in here?
a ada -i just thought the chronological order was the best way for the movie to have a begining, middle, and an end.
-i wanted to use dolphin cuz i liked the hd texture pack and it made easier to record 1080p, also cuz i needed my buddy icestrike's videos cuz my computer isn't strong enough for certain missions, but if i get a better computer im thinking of redoing it so i can fix the aspect ratio.
-yes adywans a new hope is what you saw. empire and jedi are the despecialized editions. i choose those cuz i think they are alot better than the so called "special editions".
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!
This is fun to watch and everything but there's something really messed up with a lot of the audio
Kevin michael Richardson as jabba the Hutt
And now the collect of all as remastered versions will be released on Switch this fall!
I can't believe they replaced sarkli that fast
The original Rogue Squadron soundtrack sounds like the music from Babylon 5
Billy dee williams as lando
There were a few sound problems but all in all it was good.
The music. Taste my dude.
anyone know how to get this game working on an emulator? every time i do the draw distance is insanely low and the sound is earrape
Okay…You might need to remake this video. Not so much because of the quality, but because there are random periods of silence during Endor. I think that nowadays, the copyright thing should least allow the video would be able to have sound play during such scenes.
The first one is the best
Nobody ever flies in cockpits...
Were modifications made to the scenes of Death Star I blowing up? Both look different than I remember. Regardless, this is incredible work, and I'm once more pining for Rogue Squadron IV.
It was from Star Wars Revisited by Adywan
So you implemented the Corneria music from Star Fox: Assault in the level Chandrila, the two levels are similar, but I don't think Star Fox music fits well into Star Wars.
Not only that, but Rogue Squadron 1 used Midi music on both the N64 and PC versions, plus Star Fox is owned by Nintendo, and Star Wars is owned by Disney.
Lucasfilm.
You a lawyer? Who cares it's his machima
Still better than Disney’s “Rebellion” cause this legend version really show how the real Rebellion are not afraid taking on the Galactic Empire
That's why star wars under disney is trash it makes the alliance look weak when they are 10000x stronger.
Random StarFox music.
41:52 ok bye

Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker
Can you do battle for naboo
2:48:00 Wilhelm Scream
Very cleaver using Halo 2 earth city music
It's no wonder Sarkli joined the Empire, after Commander Skywalker kept shoving him on escort and guard duty. He didn't get *any* of the recognition he deserved. What Dodonna said was especially scathing. If Sarkli weren't there, they wouldn't have survived whether Luke was there or not. I'd have joined the Empire too if I didn't get any of the respect I was due.
Then you really don't deserve respect
Luke should have treated Sarkli better.
Richard Ched Sarkli shouldn't have been so cocky
Rogué aquadron 1 2 3
I was wondering where was the order from every mission from Rogue Squadron series, i made my own list, and by watching this video i see i made a mistake may be you did but
I place "Razor Rendezvous" and "Vengeance On Kothlis" after "Extraction From Ralltiir" mission, i thought Luke Skywalker was in that "Tentative V" ship where they captured by a Star Destroyer, the rest mission was fine, but was a bit of a coincidence but Return Of The Jedi Chapter: must be like this in this order:
The Sarlacc Pit-----------------------------(Rebel Strike) Luke recue Han
Imperial Academy Heist----------------------(Rogue Leader) The Alliance stole the imperial ship
Speeder Bike Pursuit------------------------(Rebel Strike) after it Luke was taken by Vader
Raid On Bespin------------------------------(Rogue Leader) The Alliance upgrade theirs weapon
Battle Of Endor/Triumph Of The Rebelion-----(Rogue Leader) Death Star II Shield is down
Attack The Score/Attack On The Executor-----(Leader/Rebel) The End Of The Empire
According to Wookiepedia, Razor Rendezvous and Vengeance On Kothlis took place in 3.5 ABY (which is sometime after Empire but before Jedi). The Ralltiir missions from Rebel Strike are actually set in 0 ABY (shortly after A New Hope).
Also according to Wookiepedia, Imperial Academy Heist and Raid on Bespin take place before the Battle of Endor, thoo I'm guessing for Raid on Bespin it meant before the Endor battle itself and not when Luke, Han, and Leia arrived on Endor?
@@CFunk99 I forgot that was 5 month ago, i already fixed it shortly after it, mmm about that detail near the attack of the Death Star II is hard to figure it out, if the Wii version where released in time may help a lot how the missions is placed to be played in a specific order.
Was the Maw modded to fit the Disney continuity?
No, cuz the Rogue Squadron games are set in the Legends Continuity.
HD remasters if these games when?
1:46:40 Press the B button rapidly lmao
1:28:08
If commander skywalker wasn't such a Jack ass to sarclee maybe he wouldn't have defected to the empire and stayed with rogue squadron. But I'm sure admiral Piet was proud that his nephew did join the empire because he probably wouldn't have hesitated to fire on his own family.
If only he didn’t quit the Jedi Academy!
Looks like the imperials are back for payback.
The epilogue on Mon Calamari is no longer in cannon.
SpeedyEric1 Well neither is this whole trilogy, but who cares, they're still great games. And it is Canon if you look at it in the old EU timeline or make up your own SW timeline. For example, I still consider Clone Wars 2003 being canon despite not really being canon to Disney's timeline.
I still call all of the Legends stories that take place after Return of the Jedi as no longer in cannon.
C.Funk99 we'll make them continue legends again
Batou3 They ARE remaking the EU. Look at books like Dark Disciple, Thrawn, the Aftermath trilogy, etc, games like Battlefront II, and side series' like Rebels and Forces of Destiny.
So far, it's way less absurd than some of what Legends had to offer. I mean, sure, there were some good things like these games and 2003 CW, but there were also insane things like Force Storms that would've made the Death Star obsolete, the Emperor being able to transfer his consciousness to clone bodies, droid Jedi, the Emperor's son trying to marry a robot Princess Leia, and my personal favorite, Luke Skywalker banging a ghost possessing his dead Padawan's corpse. And people complain that TLJ ruined Luke's character.
Who cares?
I prefer Legends instead of that f*cking "cannon disney"

Awesome video, BUT, using outside musics to star wars make me quit, do the stuff for good. I'm leaving my dislike.
Sorry, I was just experimenting at the time.
