Welcome to Slovakia. I would recommend you a very Slovak stuff: go to Brezová pod Bradlom, from there you can go to "Bradlo" which is a place where a slovak national hero Milan Rastislav Štefánik was buried. Its located on the top of the hill nearby the village called Košariská, also M.R. Štefánik was born there and his house is available for visiting. The whole region is called "Myjavské Kopanice" which has a lot of small setlements in the beautiful nature, there is a pretty good restaurant directly in Košariská called "Holotéch Víška". You will love roaming around the place , its not far from Czech border too. Definitely try some local "slivovica" because this is the region where the best one is. And by local i mean ask random people who lives there, they will have the best one, you will be blown away how delicious it is. And also dont forget to try a soup called "kapustnica". Its delicious! Have a great trip.

Also according to the local legend, Corgoň was a very strong blacksmith who threw massive rocks to defend Nitra from the Tatar invasion, if you close your eyes and touch his statue, he will grant you a wish ;) or a beer, who knows
I appreciate your recommendation 😎
Bazant is Heineken, Saris is Asahi, the only commercial Slovak beer is Urpiner, ask for that next time :D
@@milanstrbavy7137 URPIN NAJ SK PIVO 👍😀
Dear André, im glad you still filming videos, i knew it you gonna be succesful even you had 2k subs that time ! lets go for 1m.
Much appreciated 🙂
Super recommendation I appreciate😎👌🏽
i loved halušky when i was there last summer, and i will definitely have it again when i return in May!
👌🏽😎
I ate halusky last year in that Salaš and I sat at the very same place you sit in this video at the outside terrace :D Great to see you like it! I hope you will do more trips to Slovakia.
Heeey man you are phenomenal! What a passion from halusky 🙂 enjoy ! Try some more traditional restaurant and compare ! 🙂😎

Great videos - you should try ‘Pirohy’ - my wife always grabs some at a local restaurant when we head over to visit family. Also I’d suggest visiting Kosice, a beautiful medieval town with so much culture, history and of course great food and drink. Thanks for posting these.
Určitě to tam navštívíme z klukama.✨ Máš super tvorbu a přeji ti hodně úspěchů..😎
Ja tam bývam 😀
Hi André, even when I am not in the mood, your videos always brings up smile to my face :) You are very kind person.

7:50 - enters the toilet: "Smells nice" :DDDDDDDDD
😂😎👌🏽
I came across your channel via UA-cam recommendations and I am so happy that you like Slovakia. You can also try strapačky or pirohy.
😎🙂
Drahá UA-cam mi Ťa, André, dnes "prihrala". Odporučila by som navštíviť Gemer. Okrem piva 'Gemer', by som ani zanič neodmietla Gemerské guľky, alebo Banícke guľky. Je od Teba sympatické že sa snažíš povedať pár slov po slovensky.
🙂
Andre, thank you for showing Czech and Slovak people for what they truly are. They are not racist, they are defensive, and for good historical reasons, but are very warm when shown respect. My best friend just happens to be a Nigerian bro, but he loved the Czech and Slovak experience, even more than London or Paris combined.
