Sorry for eventual mistakes in my comment, but my English is not as good and as fluent as I want.

Try to talk to foreigners who live here for a longer period of time. I would argue that there is possibly more racism in the western Europe than here. For the last 20 years we pretty much learned to co-exist with others, finding a job shouldn't be that hard (especially if you know English). So, if you'll decide, I'm sure you will find a lot of people ready to welcome you here.

So the traditional food, the traditional beer etc. will depend on the region. There are many many regions in Poland. And their traditions, manners, people and even language will vary. I am Polish and i think ppl here loves when You are trying to speak polish when You try to communicate. It always warm our hearts because we know how hard this language is and it's always nice to see someone is trying at least be able to say "dzień dobry", "proszę", "dziękuję" ☺
Don't feel ignored. We in Poland aren't common to make contact with strangers (not only foreigners). We don't greets, don't smile, sometimes don't even look at strangers passing by 😅 And there is no bad intencions! That's just they way we are
It is true, we are brought up in such a way that it is not proper to stare at strangers. I myself often don't look at foreigners (especially dark-skinned), to not to be accused of being racist 🤣

I am Polish and I will say that I am proud of these people. I have already met many foreigners who came to Poland and when they left for any other eu country later, they said that they felt better in Poland because in Poland people are nicer, smiling and more helpful😊
Andre, if you want to see a nice city in Poland i highly recommend Krakow. It has a beautifull old town, lots of nice restaurants and hotels, the wawel castle and many more.
Watching the films of Andre and his companions, you can notice that they do not venture into typical tourist spots, a great approach to see the real beauty of the country

Next summer you gotta visit Masuria, it’s a beautiful region in the north east of Poland with a lot of lakes and forests. The nature is great, food tastes good and there's a lot of cool hidden historical treasures from the WWII period

Czeski i polski, to bardzo podobne języki. Bardziej podobne niż czeski/polski do rosyjskiego.

Next summer you gotta visit Masuria, it’s a beautiful region in the north east of Poland with a lot of lakes and forests. The nature is great, food tastes good and there's a lot of cool hidden historical treasures from the WWII period
