I miss when stores would order stuff for you. I can remember when I was a kid, we could order specific goodies and food items from the longs drugs by our house. Im pretty sure they won't order specific snacks for you at the store anymore if one was to ask, haha. Im pretty sure book stores still would do that. It all depends on the place. But things certainly are different now, that's for sure. I find they lack the personal touch that places used to have. Also, I didn't realize monksferry was a real place outside of hallows house. That's a neat thing to know that you reall do live there. I love rainy weather I'd fit right in, in england or the highlands in Scotland. Ive always said I'd like to live out on the foggy moors in an old castle somewhere. That would be so fun.
Please do more of these with the keyboard, it's my favorite trigger after whispers 🙌

ohhh Kate. You said once that you're familiar with the Philadelphia area. Have you ever been to Doylestown in Bucks County, PA? on my day off yesterday, although i have tons of household chores to do, i took a little drive to Doylestown and had a lovely iced coffee and chocolate croissant at a wonderful little italian cafe, then walked on over to the Doylestown Used Bookstore. two of my favorite places out there. such s simple treat but was just what i needed! anyyyyhoo, i picked up a couple of sweet vintage books ☺️ 95¢ a piece ☺️☺️☺️❤️ SCORE! lol

Charles Dickens (Hard times) and George Orwell (1984) are incredible books i actually managed to get my crooked hands on them. The way Charles critiqued the Neo liberal policies of that time was a fascinating read also Kate mam do you have something written by O Henry in your library of whispers it'll be a solid read with a cup of coffee and Kate mam (the best companion while reading)
