I love this idea ! I think cataloguing or "office work" like this is great for Asmr, it works well for me ! Perfect timing too as I just put myself to bed ☺

Aged 14 was doing a Palladian history assignment in my local library and was very aware of the sounds of the library such as book stamping and librarian voices. Later on that evening I had a very itchy foot whilst trying to sleep and was kept awake by it and had to scratch it several times. Because I had been at the library all day I associated the book stamping soft whispering voices of the librarian and sounds of the shiny book covers computer card scanning and so on as a trigger for my itch and it defined the 90s for me
Do you still get that itch in a library?
The thought of the old library system triggers a psychological itch but not these days with the self service machines

Miss the old style libraries and computer sounds plus the information desk. Self service just isn’t the same 😢😢😢

Today Libraries are noisy places where they were relaxing and peaceful in times past.

@@LibraryofWhispersASMR I might just create my own library atmosphere (I do have quite a few books) and imagine myself in a quiet library or find a quiet one.
