Good points from a young Backpacker. I've been in Thailand 30 years. Teaching scuba on Phuket for 10 years. I ended up in Pattaya Jomtien and Buriram. Live in all 3 places. Gotta truck motorcycles bicycles. Thoroughly enjoying the whole country.
I went to Bangkok last year. It was my first time being outside of America and I went solo. I’ve never felt such at peace while being in Thailand. I plan on moving to Phuket once I’m out of the army.
Good choice. I’m not a world traveler but have been to Hong Kong, Singapore, Pusan and Nagasaki while in the Navy, and now here in Thailand. There is something special about this place ❤
BKK has really surprised me. I thought it would be intimidating. Big, big city and all buzz. The mai pen rai is real. English is not uncommon. I was up to Skywalk, for example, and decided to try BTS for the first time. A bit confused I approached a Caucasian but he was European 😂 and so I then approached a local gal, google translate in hand and she answered back as if an American 😳 Absolutely fluid English. There is a real vibe here of friendliness and take it easy, enjoy life, be generous and kind. AQI is my only hesitation. I’m used to 20-50 in America and I’m seeing 120 as average 🤷🏽♂️
I really like Chiang Rai - similar food & surrounding landscape as Chiang Mai but way more relaxed & 10% of the traffic. Hat Yai was great as an alternative big city with different food & surrounding areas (to BKK). Great Channel.
Hello, I'm from Thailand. Welcome and I hope you have a good time in Thailand. We Thai people welcome all races and religions (sorry my English is weak).
dude your " Chiang Mai " footage is Northern Vietnam , specifically Mai Chau - How do I know ? Well I am literally here right now 😍 I had to do a double take when I saw that 🤪
I am getting a bit tired of that ‘digital nomad’ thing, as if the world evolves around them. Be aware that the vast majority of expatriates working in Bangkok are non-digital nomads. They actually work.
I thought a work visa was nearly impossible in Thailand, but went to the local steak house and there was a Caucasian guy working. And at SKNN I chatted with a gal from UK who works there. 🤷🏽♂️
Trying to respectful , but this creator loves the sound of his own voice way too much ! Just an opinion , but feels forced and smug Which is a shame cause it is good information
Did you know that Udon Thani Province in the northeast of Thailand has approximately 30,000 foreigners living there? There must be some reason for that. 😉😊
This is not Udon Thani Province. There are no foreigners living there. There are only Thais. If they are foreigners, they are Vietnamese who went to war and fled to seek refuge in Thailand or who have stayed so long that they have become Thais. The Vietnam War must be blamed on one's own ancestors.
biggest load of fake it till you make it I've ever seen. Did you buy a watch especially for the video? Try to be more authentic and focus on providing a good service that others need and do it better. Constructive criticism but this content is no good. Sry.

Great video and me and my better half are hoping to retire to Thailand one day 💖
Pattaya is quite convenient for access to all of Thailand. It also features international food, entertainment and lots of English!

Pattaya is now the #2 largest city in Thailand and in 2024 had 20+ million visitors - significantly more than the other cities sans BKK
And yet it feels way more relaxed than Phuket .
Thai's nature, for short, is easy going, enjoy life and respect.
Thumbs up 👍 Alex
Hua Hin
Phuket let's all move to Thailand.
Thailand has become super pricey this year though :/

Thank you sir digital nomads infest every nook and cranny emanating a social distancing vibe

I imagine 50 to 70 % have Thai spouses in Udon Thani.

Almost 100% for this 30,000 foreigners. 😉☺️
