Class is in session. 1911 Gunsmith Training- the old school way. Watch how old school training aids where used to instruct the armorer and gunsmiths of yesteryear.
I’m “only” 63 and overhead projectors seemed like new fangled technology when I started elementary school. Thanks for this presentation. I finally can see how the disconnector, trigger, grip safety and sear all work together.
Love it! I grew up in the era of overhead projectors. Thank you. I learned about 1911's from an actual book years ago. "The Colt .45 Automatic, A Shop Manual" circa 1986. Tech. is great but seeing this made me smile. Thanks for sharing!
Refreshing...there is still a place for this kind of analog training. It works for me . Computers are here to stay but it’s come to a point where they have taken over our lives .
Amazing analogue visual aid. Better than digital in some ways, especially with the instructor physically manipulating the pieces.

This video is exactly what I was looking for... I did a full disassembly and couldn't figure out why it wasn't catching. Really helped me out. Thanks!
Great find Steve! I was a USN armorer and this brought back some memories for sure.
Love it, it would’ve been nice if it showed how the thumb safety interacted with the rest of the internals.

Very cool 😎

I absolutely love this
This helps so much, was trying to get it from 3d models, and there was just too much detail all at once
Better than any PPT or video.

I would love to have that, had one for the m60
That is really cool!
Awesome!
Browning is a genius!
Robert J Brady Company. Specialized in instructional material. Did a lot with FEMA and fire departments. I guess it is indeed out of business
