For the Suede, you can either wash them with fairy liquid and water and then spray mink oil and brush them or you can try to use a rubber and rub the stains off plus brush
Just started reselling bits 'n bobs on eBay 3 weeks ago. If someone had said to me a month ago that I'd be glued to my lappy watching some bloke clean a pair of trainers in his kitchen - I'd have laughed my cotton socks off and looked at them with utter incredulity. Yet, here I am and I watched to the end! It has sparked an idea: do the things that others aren't prepared to do. So, now I know how to clean shoes, I'm going to look out for the dirty pairs that are going cheap that other resellers can't be bothered with. Cheers JDF - season's greetings to you 'n yours! 🙂
Thanks for this mate, I remember requesting this when I first started watching you over a year ago. You inspired me to start up and I remember telling you I got my first sale back in January. I can't believe how fast my eBay store has grown, thank you for helping me bite the bullet and start reselling, I went full time in October!
Awesome to read that, so glad the videos are helping with your business. That’s what it’s all about! Hope 2025 is a big one for your business, full time already, that’s awesome. 🙌🏼
@ Jammy the legend dodger. Great video been longing for someone to share a few tips on cleaning trainers!!. Knowledge many of us need. You deserve the comment's you have got you are genuine an humble your channel is great. Hope you have a great Christmas🎉. Keep smashing it...
Thanks for the cleaning video and thanks for all the videos this year. 2024 has been my 1st step into the reselling world alongside my full-time job, thanks for being my inspiration
Thanks for sharing your great video James. Your doing a fantastic job, and it's always lovely to hear about all your sales. I love watching your videos and so does my cat lol. As soon as she hears your voice she runs over to take a look lol. Keep up the good work ❤
I did mention a while back you’ll fit much more if u stock them on top of each other and get rid of the shelves u can easily fit about 7-8 on top they are really strong boxes
Really enjoy your videos mate. There right up my street as i’ve been hustling and reselling myself since i was 10 and i’m 49 now😂. I spent 9 years selling discounted skate shoes on ebay and Amazon which stemmed from myself owning a series of skateboard shops in Harlow, Essex. I started right at the beginning of the internet pretty much from out the back of my shop. I soon run out of space as in order to get the best discount of 40% trade i had to buy 2-4 pallets at a time. I then went to a separate small unit and then swapped up various times until i was in a 6500 sq ft warehouse. Was the time of our lives as i had 4 mates working for me and 150 pairs going out everyday for years. All came to an end when the suppliers, Vans, DC, Etnies etc starting retailing their own clearance around 4 years ago. I’m sure with your passion and attention to detail you will ramp this business up one way or another and you will be flying 🙂. I now retail skate stuff on Amazon FBA and abit on ebay and it’s not like the glory days but it pays the bills 👊 Keep your chin up homeboy. Hem
new years eve and im sitting watching your video on cleaning shoes which is brilliant . hope you have a great 2025. next time im at the boot sale i wont be put off by a dirty pair of trainers . all the best to you and your family keep doing what your doing many thanks
Fabulous James thank you I did think you had a secret for stained suede ( it's avoid it ! ) Learned lots since I started following you Have a great Christmas with little CeeCee - come January when other people's sales drop , yours will be on the up as people start running and exercising again so you'll be laughing 🎄🎄 lots of love
Enjoy your videos .as a past hobby seller, for ten years selling occasionally.i have give up on ebay.the algorithm made it impossible to continue.i prefered when it was the old ebay.paying fir listing.ebay is killing its brand.you have a great business.. everyone is counting the pennies in December.have a lovely Christmas and a great succesful 2025 to u and your lovely family 🎉
Hiya. It was most likely beer on them shoes spilt on them in the pub 😊 😂 🍻 Anyway thanks for all your great videos and All the best and for next year. Cheers 🍻 👞 👟
You are impressively thorough with the footwear cleaning. I use a new nylon nailbrush and whitening toothpaste to clean soles/Sides & they come up great. Packing damp trainers out with newspaper us a good way to absorb the moisture when put aside. Very good tutorual….👍👏😄
I soak suede boots and shoes and use a magic sponge/eraser and rub them all over the shoes. It's amazing for removing stains and also brings back the colour if the suede looks a bit tired!! Tbh I don't know how anyone doesn't use magic erasers when they clean trainers etc. Absolutely amazing for midsole and I use them for removing marks on toys and so many other things!! Just need to find decent ones on amazon because some just break up straight away.
Great video James. Is the sku system only available to business sellers? I've tried everything, apparently it's at the bottom of item specifics but I can't see it.
Hey brotha, some things to remember, middle of the month people don’t have much moneys, first few days of the week are normally slow and it’s too close to Christmas for a lot of people to be buying stuff, nothing wrong with your methods man just how the economy works, like a flowing river
I use a magic eraser for the white midsole, otherwise my process is very similar. One thing I do struggle to clean well is New Balance 327’s. The colours always run or I get a weird residue. Do you follow the same process when you clean these, or are you just more selective when buying to avoid this problem? Another great video. Re the last video, I sell 99% used trainers too and had a bit of a dip recently too. I have put it down to the fact that people probably don’t buy used trainers as gifts often, and so I’m sure your sales will pick back up once it’s all out the way, although it looks like in this video they have which is great!
Yeah I’ve had that too with the colourful 327s, the grey & white ones are okay. But avoid getting the others wet as the colour runs. Exactly that re the sales, hopefully it picks up new year!
I am sorry but that is absolutely disgusting. How can you wash shoes in your kitchen sink where you wash dishes but even washing dirty shoes in a place where you cook etc. 🤮🤢
LOL, ever heard of disinfectant? I did mention it in the video I’d gets someone like you commenting 😅 We have a dishwasher for the dishes, but thanks for your concern
@@JammyDodgerFlipsOh ok, so I guess there would be no issue in urinating in your kitchen sink as then you can just simple disinfect right? So disgusting and unhygienic
Have you tried an old toothbrush for some of your shoe cleaning

Just discovered your channel James I'm hooked well done 😊
Love it! Enjoy the content 😊
Thank you great video.will use this to clean our trainers

Thank you! Oh yes, that’s a good hack too, need to use this more often!
Great video mate, honestly thought you were going to use sugar soap as that’s great to get the mud and dirt of the soles. Cheers
Great video this is how I used to clean my trainers when I first started, although I did mine in the shower! 🤦🏼♀️😅
Hahah don’t think UA-cam would have allowed that if I did the same tutorial 🤣
Great video. Will save this for when I need it. Ps. Be easy on yourself😊
Thanks for the video. Thoughts on using a drill with a brush attachment? Could make the scrubbing easier and quicker?
Great video mate! Where did you get the Shoe shaper from?
Plenty of shoe trees out there online 😊
Very very impressive also can not believe your eBay charges 😱😱
Much appreciated! Yes they’re horrible but still worth it - just!

Should be there somewhere, if not, just make your own in title or description.
Can you put trainer's in a washing machine?
Were are this carboot i live in London and i would like to go tancks
Hampshire area, quite a few I go to

Do your feet not get cold on that hard floor? Using cardboard or some carpet off cuts might make you cosier 😊
Honestly not too bad at all, it’s quite a warm garage as tucked under the house 😊
@@JammyDodgerFlips That's good then. I hate being cold. Lol
Great video 😊
Do you do the same with suede new balance shoes
Yes! Just be gentle with the suede
Great video! Just asking how long would it take to dry the shoes on the radiator and do you flip them over after a while to get the other side dry?
Depends on the shoes, converse take a few hours, whereas a running shoe, maybe 6 hours or so

Get a suede eraser mate. Only £5 and it’s the best thing you’ll ever buy.
I have one of them, good for light scuffs but would not have made a difference on this heavy stain, unfortunately. Thanks though 👊🏼
Love your videos. How do I buy stuff on your ebay please?
Thanks! Link should be in the description
