No matter how hard I try, and offer it to God, it is very difficult when you are not feeling well and unable to function in normal everyday chores…

My beautiful daughter is dying from a rare heart disease. She's 16 years old. We lost her twin sister to cancer. I do love and trust God but I'm so scared I will cause scandal in my response after she passes away. I did badly after the loss of our other daughter. I caused a lot of grief. How can God possibly trust me with this cross?
God loves you, it's a heavy cross pray He will not abandon you, May our Lord Jesus strengthen you,help you and may He bless you.

Beautiful presentation in a logical and rational way. Some souls are not wired as academics. As an Eastern Catholic we expect mystical encounters of the intervention of angels, saints and agency of God direct and indirectly. The Latin rite is too much like a math textbook.

Remember that physical distance from receiving communion can never prevent us of receiving the Eucharist in a Spiritual way. We can do this several times per day. We can never be separated from God. May you gave peace.

I wish i could stop worrying about things . We've now heard that our eldest son and his wife and two sons are moving overseas. This means we won't see them again. We are in our early 70s and on pension so couldn't afford the trip to visit them. Also saying goodbye again after a visit would be terrible. I suppose it's more sadness than worry. I don't know how I'm going to cope why they eventually leave in a few months. 😢

If we lack hope,faith and chariry, and deal with scrupulousity...we have no trust in our Lord and are fighting constantly on our own,which leads to spiritual and bodily exhaustion.
It has got to a point where I can't work 100% , haven't worked out for 6 months and it has definitely affected my social life.
Still, I'm ready to throw myself into this battle because I have nothing to lose but everything to gain. What's the point to continue living in fear and distrust, and not being able to sleep?
Nutmeg is calming, if you drink chamomile or any herbal calming tea...this can be beneficial...

You can't think your way out of an anxiety disorder though. You may need exercise, meditation, and outside help to fend it off. And even then it can come back.

Anxiety says you are not safe or secure. The Lord of Peace says "I am with you." I like reading books like The Jesus Response by John Pohl for seeing how loved we truly are :)
Have no anxiety...but you may commit mortal sin at any moment and be tortured forever. Makes so much sense.
What would you recommend instead?
Don't commit any mortal sins and you will be fine. Also, God provides the grace we need not only to avoid mortal sin but also to practice three key virtues that keep us from eternal suffering and a lot of suffering in this world as well -- faith, hope, charity.
@@bjthinkingclearlygal4968 , the will is indeterministic and unpredictable. There is no way to guarantee that one won't commit mortal sin prior to its occurrence. It's like telling a spinning coin, "Don't land on tails."
