Oh brother!...I exploted in laughter when you announced, the Mexico City Anthem !...spot on ! That is so true because it is unique! Thank you my friend, you have made my day. Mi casa es tu casa.
Born and raised in Mexico City. I moved to LA in 2000. I lived there for 18 years. Now I have been living in Guadalajara for a few years. I've missed Mexico City every day since leaving. I travel there every chance I get and I am never disappointed. Glad you enjoy my city. I am thankful for all your kind words and the great videos you have posted on your life there. Take care and keep the good work.
I came last November and didn't want to leave! So I rented an apartment in Condesa last month. I admit that I was ignorant about CDMX before I came, I was just trying to chase mild weather. But this place is amazing.
Great video! I was just in CDMX for a few days in May and you did a wonderful job capturing the special qualities of the city. Having grown up in NYC, and speaking some Spanish, are helpful in making this big city less intimidating. I loved all the parks and neighborhoods, and gawked at some of the street vendors, cooking very early in the morning. I never felt unsafe, even walking at night by myself. BTW, you should mention that museums are closed on Sunday. I’d planned to go to the Museum of Anthropology on Sunday and was surprised it was closed since that’s a big day for museums in most countries.
Closed on Sunday?! That must have changed because of the pandemic to avoid crowds inside or outside. Because it used to be open on Sun¡days and that day was free for nationals.
Totally love CDMX❤❤❤❤🥰😍. World class city imo.
I agree!

You should interact more with locales 😁
I do. Have local friends and live in a local building in a neighborhood of mostly locals 😊
