Hello Dennis Collins Your shows with Gas Monkey showed you and Richard Rawlings that you always found great old treasures in the abandoned halls and old buildings. There is not that much here in Germany, unfortunately. I wish you a lot of fun browsing these great vehicles. Lg Lutz
Ciao !! nr one ....!!!!
Dennis, I wish you would randomly pick a fan and bring them down to see your operation. From the Jeep stuff to all the beautiful super cars! The variety of what you collect and put back into circulation is so remarkable! I’ve gotta be you biggest Fan !!
Love the Scrambler! Also love the fact that you said it’s not staged! That’s the key to the videos being so good. No bs, music or acting to get a laugh! Just real stuff, facts (which I love) and showing the passion and love you have for these old Jeeps and cars! Awesome! I hope I get to meet you one day. When I buy my next Jeep I am going to buy it from you!!!! No doubt! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Talk about serendipity. I was driving to the grocery store this morning and pulled up behind a gentleman who had a scrambler that looked exactly like yours but it was in PRISTINE condition. He said he owned it since new and in his words “ this ones going to the grave with me. “
Hi Dennis, I have a 2005 Grand JeepCherokee 4.7lt and after I washed the engine bay it has developed an acceleration (when cold) problem from standing start. I'm a big fan 🌡🌏
aww yes i owned a 1983 CJ7 loved it but always wished i had gotten the Scrambler because i was a Scuba Diver who grew up in South Florida and there was barely enough room behind the back seat for my dive gear although i did come up with a pretty smart design that i had a Steel cover made to go accross the back wheel wells that attached to the jeep with padlocks with that cover on you couldnt open the tailgate or see what was in there it kept my gear from getting stolen and i could keep 2 milk crates of whatever i wanted to keep safe i usually had some tools and snatch ropes for off roading in the Florida Everglades i also bolted a Surplus Ammo canister to my firewall under the hood that i kept my wheel lock key in keep in mind it was a time with less crime overall and i did have a Alpine Stereo installed with waterproof Sony boat speakers in the dash i used to black out the Alpine name using black permanent markers to make it look like it was just a cheap radio ? in those days i used to leave a 200 dollar pair of Sunglasses hanging on my rear view mirror and those were never taken despite not using the factory top or doors yes the rain washed my interior daily for me and i pulled the drain hole caps on the floor boards to prevent puddles
I own (2) ‘81 CJ8’s. Unlucky enough that they both have the crappy transmissions...nice that you got one of the good transmissions. Both of mine are base models. One even has the ‘Iron Puke’. Also have a ‘84 as a daily driver and working on getting a parts ‘85.
Dennis I know of another local Scrambler that has been sitting for years. It had been sitting out in a drive way of a house in Lake Highlands Dallas. The house is on Easton rd. between Van Dyke Rd and the middle school approximate coordinates 32°51'32.64"N 96°42'25.34"W . It was there a couple of years ago. Might send one of your guys to go check it out......if it's still there.
So dennis ... I have been a big fan of yours for a while ... I have seen you build a number of cars and jeeps .. but one of the jeep line I haven’t seen ( maybe I missed it ) is the honcho ... would you consider building one ??
i've wanted a scrambler since I first saw them in high school 40 years ago Kick myself on not buying one 15 years ago could had a nice one for well under 10k
I graduated in 84 and have always wanted one, but I live in Iowa and they immediatly rusted away here. I've haven't seen one that wasn't rusted out since the 90's (here anyway) but I still want one!
Rust. They didn't do the best metal prep when they made them, so rust on the body and frame could be a deal changer. The inline 6 engine is bullet proof. Can't speak to the 8 or the 4 as mine has the 6.
Dennis would a 63-64 Corvette Roadstar or a 72 factory 454 vette roadster be up your alley? I can give you a name and number for you to chat. The guy is an old school drag racer. These cars are going to be tough to move as there are other corvette parts and vette cars in the way.
Looking for cheap Jeeps to buy so I can turn around and sell it to Dennis at a loss just so I can get to hang out with him LOL but you have to stay more than 10 minutes

Scrambler is my favorite of the jeeps. My uncle has a restored one he transplanted a 4cyl. Cummins into. It's a great little torque monster now
When Dennis and his guys get done with the restoration you will not recognize that classic jeep. Nice!!!!👍👍👍
Would Dennis be interested in a 1964 Jaguar
Mr. Collins has all the knowledge, when it comes to cars. I really like the episodes, I wish they were longer to enjoy with my coffee.
Dennis, I wish you would randomly pick a fan and bring them down to see your operation. From the Jeep stuff to all the beautiful super cars! The variety of what you collect and put back into circulation is so remarkable! I’ve gotta be you biggest Fan !!

Love that you don't stage anything. Much more authentic buying and walk around experience.
Class act and not afraid to get his hands dirty.😎👍👍👍👍👍

Dennis you have a great team. Hope you give us updates on this jeep.
Here's your update: restored the jeep & sold it for 6 times more than what was paid for it. Everybody's happy!
The Scrambler is one of my favorite Jeeps.
Mine too
@@DennisCollinsCarWorld My dream Scrambler would be an 1984 Laredo Scrambler in Ice Blue.
Thank you for saving American automotive history.
I’d love to spend one day in your shoes! Rad man 🤘🏻
True that ^
Another cool find, love the color.

I enjoy your videos Dennis. Is there any way that you may be able to upgrade your sound quality?
Looks like Bubba went crazy with the drill on it.
Cash is king....right time...right place...cha- ching!!
I would love to see a BLKMTN take on the Scrambler, like an older build of your Gladiator. Love the content BTW °|||||||°

Did any scramblers come from the factory automatic or are the ones you see out there conversions?
Dennis what’s a modest amount to spend restoring those wranglers?
I know it would be awkward but I’d love to see them negotiating the deal.
Eres el mejor ánimo
I miss Thomas and Misfit Garage...

What kind of problems should we expect when buying a old CJ? Especially between 70-80?
Rust. They didn't do the best metal prep when they made them, so rust on the body and frame could be a deal changer. The inline 6 engine is bullet proof. Can't speak to the 8 or the 4 as mine has the 6.
Score!
