Great video. Like how you put the time stamps in description. Very smart, might have to do that on some of my longer videos. Appreciate you both for going out and checking it out. Stay safe. Tight lines.
@@ThumprFishing thanks for watching and thanks also for your service! I just subbed your channel. I see you’re in the space coast area. How did you guys come through Milton?
@Fishin-Girl thanks. Much appreciated. Ya, we got pretty lucky. Not much damage for me. The tornados it's made was what did most damage ground here. How did you do with milton?
Milton messed the beaches up pretty badly here. And now we are dealing with so much seaweed that I had to cancel some charters. Literally unfishable. Snapped two lines and almost spooked one of my lines within minutes of casting. But thankfully at our house we had minimal damage. Just part of a fence blown out. Thanks!
@@cjd2555 you’re very welcome! That’s why I do this. Hoping that it helps people know what to expect before they go and where it’s accessible. Thanks so much for watching!
That was an awesome video! It is what people need to know. What happened to their locations? That was a lot of work going to that many locations and shooting like that. Thank you for a great video and good luck on your next trip!
Hey thank you so much! I really enjoy doing it and I know ow it’s what people need to know before heading out to fish or have fun at the beach. I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment 😊😁🐟🎣
Sorry to hear your beaches got messed up, it's beautiful down there. Jax beaches (I am in AB) got hit pretty good. I was hoping much of the sand renourishment (Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan's sand, as I call it) would get washed away. Much did. I hope the fishing and sandfleas return soon because of it. I wish the ACOE would stay the hell away and stop messing up our coastline.
I was surprised how well our Flagler beach renourishment fared through Milton. I expected a lot of it to be gone but it held pretty well, but it sure looks different. 🤷🏻♀️ I was able to find sand fleas last week in Flagler, it was just a bit trickier than usual but I got a whole handful with scooping sand with my hands in the right spot. Which surprised me with the new sand. Anyway, Thanks for watching!
@@Fishin-Girl yep I’ve been here since 2012. Matthew caused quite a bit of issues especially in Flagler beach but even up here changed our beach a lot bc it came up the east coast that time.
Thanks for showing us the damage of y'all beaches 😢 from hurricane Milton, nature has a way of replenishing itself a lot of structure change, but I know y'all will be alright in time, we were lucky this time, Lord knows we have seen our shares of storms, but in the meantime you're more than welcome to come fish over here on the panhandle, ⬅️🎣🐟🐟🐟,, Stay Safe God Bless,,
@@tomsheridan989 hopefully this week. I’ve got a lot of work at my desk to complete over the next week and a half before we take a trip to watch my son graduate from Air Force tech school. So I am hoping to fish. Waiting for it to calm down a bit more. Let me know how you do!

That is just insane, thanks for bringing us a long to see it.

Thanks Cathy for checking out all of the local surf fishing beaches to see how they were impacted by Milton.

I live like a minute from Marineland and there are rocks like that usually especially at low tide but that amount of sand stacked up is crazy lol.
Right? It’s crazy. Were you here before Ian and Nicole came through? I was shocked how it looked after those storms. Thanks for watching!

Appears beach cart fishing a no go for now 😢
On most beaches, yes for the time being. Might need a helper to get the cart up and over obstacles or stairs 🤷🏻♀️ thanks so much for watching!

When are you going to try to fish? I'm thinking about Tuesday.

@@Fishin-Girl Thank you! It was a very informative video.
Thank you so much for not driving while filming this video. It should be a good example for all UA-camrs on how to do a video while on the road.

I wonder what the St. Augustine pier looks like now after they put all of that sand around it.
