Was in Satellite Beach yesterday. Caught a bluefish and a whiting on dead shrimp and fish bites. Lots of little bites. Seemed pretty active. Hoping to be back out there soon. Thanks for the info. Tight lines!
@@seangleason7796 great! I hope the info is helpful for you guys. There also also some great suggestion from other anglers in the comments. Thanks for watching!
The sheepshead jigs with a fiddler crab added works better than using the crabs with a regular "J" hook. It seems that the angle that the bait is presented increases the chance of a hookup.
One nice thing about surf fishing this time of year is that there is a larger variety of birds. I got skunked the other day but had least terns and common loons fishing in front of me. There were willets, sanderlings, and ruddyturnstones too.
@@tomsheridan989 oh wow, I need to study up on my bird identification. I knew there were more birds but I didn’t realize how many species. Thanks for pointing that out! I used to do a bit of birdwatching in high school back in NY, so stuff like that is interesting to me!
Boa noiteeeeee e uma excelente pescaria que esse ano eu adquira mais esperiença na pesca com seus ensinamentos um 2025 cheio de paz saúde saúde e felicidade pra VCS
Yes, correct. Is there a certain brand you prefer? I have a few that are more like shark rigs and the bluefish don’t touch them because the hook is so large.
@@maryadams1160 I really tried on this one. I started recording at the beach and my GoPro had an error and I lost all the footage. Was going to try again and it got cold and windy. Seems more people watch when I’m in my car than at my desk. 🤷🏻♀️ but thanks for watching and once it warms up I’ll be recording at the beach for future months
Hey thanks for watching. I tried to record out at the beach but my GOPro had an error and I lost all the content. This video had a lot of information I had to convey, but I have tons of other videos that are all fishing that you would probably enjoy, like this uncut winter fishing video: ua-cam.com/video/Xh0K0MNIQNQ/v-deo.htmlsi=CM_s13bKWOTq1qV9

Nothing but cats with shrimp yesterday at Ft. Pierce inlet. Clams and live bait worked for other guys.
Yeah the catfish have been thick lately up this way too. Thanks for that info and thank you for watching!
Loved it! Thanks for taking time to share your knowledge with us. HAPPY NEW YEAR! 😎👍👍🐟
Thanks for watching! Happy New Year to you too!
Glad I came across this! Adding to watch later, my friend and I have been surf fishing off Canaveral in FL and looking to up our game!

Thanks for that information, Bruce! I’ll give that a try! Do you use a certain length leader?
Thanks so much for watching

@ yes I did thank you. I fish the Texas coast down in Corpus Christi.
Yes! Thank you maam! 🐟
Awesome fish

I can’t wait to give diet Pepsi shrimp a try.

Long shank hooks work better
Is that for the bluefish? That makes sense. Thanks so much for watching.
The Eagle Claw #4-#6 long shank acts like a 'handle'! 😆 I have caught thousands of surf fish on them. Happy 2025! 🏝🐟
@@johnmorganjr769 I'll have to give those hooks a try! Thanks for the information!

How about recording out of your car?
