Thank you! Please do bring us more supabase contents! I find supabase requires more knowhow for nocoders to make some of the most basic functions work, e.g. link a profile picture. And that's why we need people like you!
Hi there! I've been a dedicated follower of your channel for quite some time now, and I must say, your videos are absolutely fantastic. They provide me with a wealth of knowledge and information, especially when it comes to the world of no code. Among all the UA-cam channels centered around this topic, I genuinely believe that you stand out as the one who delves into the deepest details, and I truly appreciate that. I'm really keen on becoming more familiar with the world of no code myself, but I must admit that the backend aspect is still quite unfamiliar territory for me. Whether it's Firebase, Supabase, Airtable, Notion, or Bubbles' backend solution, I often find myself watching your videos and trying to grasp the techniques. However, there are moments when I feel like I lack a foundational understanding or the basic knowledge (the 101, so to speak), and it can be frustrating when I only see you swiftly clicking through various steps. I've come across a few how-to videos about Firebase, but unfortunately, they aren't very beginner-friendly from a no code perspective. So, I wanted to kindly request if you could create a video specifically tailored for absolute beginners like me, where you explain everything from the ground up. It would mean the world to me, and I truly appreciate all the effort you put into your content.
James, thanks for this nice roundup of Supabase. Though I knew most of the features you discussed, it was quite interesting to see how you use n8n, another favourite product of mine, in conjunction with Supabase. I also learnt about what vector and embeddings mean and how to use them in a real-life scenario using the simple, yet complex example you used. Thank you James.
Some nice tips. Have you figured out how to set up edge functions so some could for instance listen out for SMS text message from Twilio? I'm trying to work out how to update the database when a call is made to an endpoint. Bubble, which I know you are familiar with, makes this so easy in a backend work flow. Seems a lot harder to set up receiving webhooks within Supabase. A tutorial on this would be amazing. Thanks
Hi dear, Its really good to use supabase. Can you please guide me? I am using firebase and in that have an option of ignore eompty filters. How can we do in supabase query? I want to see whole data when filter field is empty.
Hi, James! "Man, I'm always impressed by how you consistently deliver such valuable content in your videos." Thanks a lot! I'm trying to use Supabase... However, I have a question: I have a USERS table and a SKILLS table. After the user registers, I want them to choose their SKILLS (which can be multiple). I created a SKILLS_USER column in the USERS table and linked it to the ID of the SKILLS table. But when I mark the SKILLS_USER column as an Array, Supabase doesn't allow me to create this column. How can I establish a relationship so that each USER can have multiple SKILLS?
@@debunkitnow I've looked for several tutorials on the internet on the subject and I haven't found a solution. And my biggest problem is that my App has many relationships of this type (one-to-many, many-to-many)... I didn't understand how Supabase works with this, much less how to work with this data and relationships in FlutterFlow. If James does a tutorial on this, I think it will be his first!
Is it possible you need to create a rule for it and that’s why it’s not linking. I will be attempting to build mine with a similar setup and I’d assume you need to create a rule to relate them instead .
Great video. I’ve found that Supabase don’t reply to their chats. There is little to no documentation for table id pairing and math calculation functions… Looks good but unless the do the basics well, it’s impossible to use…
Thank you. This is awesome. Waiting for more Supabase tutorials. But, I'm building a niche app and don't want trolls creating fake accounts like Facebook or LinkedIn. I think that an email verification would be much more secure, right. How do I set that up without problems?
Algolia - the searching service. What would be the need? Postgres, the underlying database has full text search built in. Also you could hook things like elasticsearch, and the like.
Since algolia is already linked to flutterflow, i thought it would be easy to do the integration. Not sure how you can integrate flutterflow with elastic.
Can you make a step-by-step App tutorial using supabase? E.g. a twitter clone, whatsapp clone, tinder clone, uber clone. I'm willing to pay for it :) Firebase is a pain when it comes to gdpr, an impossibility when it comes to serving data to countries where google services are restricted.

Thank you James! Awesome Supabase tutorial!
How do you know this much its amazing
Can you create a video on how to use bubble with superbase?

supabase.from('table_name').select('*');
Great, now please show me how to change the supabase password from within flutterflow.
Do I need php or node.js as backend for my app if I use supabase
Or supabase is enough

Sir, plz tell me a way to earn atleast 200 dollars per month as a student using no code tools... 😢
