Linear games are simply what makes gaming great in my opinion, while they may not have as much content as open world games they do not feel forced to finish/grind for completion yet they have so much replay-ability. What a great video! So many awesome games listed, my top 3 linear games are Dead Space (2023), Resident evil 7 Biohazard and Bloodborne.
what do you mean they don't feel forced to finish? That's exactly what they are made for in reality as they have a beginning a middle and an end just like a movie and book.
Online multiplayer games are the ones your thinking of with no end.
@@resiefan3258 my bad I meant to say finish to 100% completion. I still love open world games but I meant that I’d rather spend more time on most linear games replaying them rather than 100% completing an open world game.

Callisto Protocol is very under rated, once you get used to the dodge mechanic it’s a pretty damn good game.

I had to pause this video twice because I was laughing so hard. Big Exec. at UbiSoft was too funny and true to life. Just a well put together video from beginning to end. Maybe adding Mafia Definitive 1 and 2 or LA Noire (u playing this would be a hilarious stream!), but like u say, there are plenty out there. And yes, I cry like a baby on some endings (well, I cried at the end of Astros Playroom - still trying to figure that one out 😢)

I played Uncharted 2 last year. What a fantastic game. Sometimes older titles can suprise more than you think.

You can tell I love linear (or semi-open world) games considering my TOP5 games of all time are Alan Wake, The Last of Us, A Plague Tale, God of War, Hellblade (hoping Hellblade 2 will be on PS5 soon).

Just a suggestion that requiem chapter 8-12 may force you to quit the game as these 4 chapters have pacing issue but just hold on as after that games just picks the pace

I like how you talk about the Uncharted gamers 🎮 1&2 were my favorites 3 didn't get into it and have not played 4 but I remember looking at the trailers for this game, thinking this looks just like a movie 🍿 later on even tho I had The Xbox 360 which was also Amazing I bought PS3 later on just to play the game I finished 1&2 it was not easy but I did it and one more thing just to give a honorable mention PS3 also had PS home that was good to but long forgot now unfortunately some people may remember it but not this new generation The 360 and PS3 generation was truly Amazing 🙂👍🏾

There's a free to play Vampire battle royale game on PS5 called Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt. I just wanted to let people know about this game.
I'd also put Returnal and Control on that list. Two incredibly good games with compelling storylines and gameplay, especially the combat.

ff16 was my first ff game too, I didnt like as much as i thought but damn those icon fights were pretty awesome. I just finished ff7 remake, that game was great definitely got me more interested into the ff universe, something about the characters, and gameplay and story I thought was just better than 16. TLOU & The Callisto Protocol. I do agree with you with the health and reload for callisto. I finished the game and dlc a few months ago and ding....the struggle with the enemies and boss fights. Did you play the dlc to callisto?
Callisto was insanely underrated the story to me was better than dead space 1 it definitely deserves a sequel!!!
