Fun fact, that "Hero's Shield" obviously doesn't look like any shield the Hero of Time has ever wielded, right? However, it does look almost exactly like a certain tiny shield the Hero of the Minish used, long before the Hero of Time was even born. The fact that it was apparently passed down the family line and considered a cherished, well-cared for treasure for all that time... makes me really happy, actually. :') It was clearly very important to Minish Cap's Link - after all, despite its poor quality, it was a gift from his best friend. And he never exchanged it for a different shield, even though he could've probably gotten something much better, what with his grandfather being a famous smith and all. He loved that shield. (You can upgrade to the Mirror Shield in that game, but that's optional, and even then, it's technically still the same shield.)
This is one of those games I desperately wish I could play but don't own the right consoles, so RT thank you so much for streaming this (and thanks to the archivers for making sure it's documented here ^_^ ). Hopefully it gets ported at some point, but for now I'm so happy to watch one of my favourite streamers share this experience with us. I'm looking forward to binging this series so much!!

Okay, if your playing everyone's favorite games, than I suggest getting your hands on a copy of Chibi-Robo: Plug into adventure, really great wholesome game where you play as a tiny robot that does some house shore surrounded by talking toys and ultimately save a marriage and the world at the same time, it's a classic GameCube game. You also get a gun.
I never was able to play Wind Waker as a kid because I didn't own the consoles it was on. It always looked so cool though! I appreciate your playthrough for keeping it as spoiler free as possible. Thanks.

Just because one thing evolves into something, doesn't necessarily mean the original thing becomes extinct. We have both dogs and wolves, after all! In the context of BotW, they could have found different niches and just evolved differently over a very long time
so I havent seen his playthrough of undertale, but something tells me the undertale fans ruined the experience for another person playing it just from the way dan is talking RIP I say this as an undertale fan, btw, I adore that game but good lord the fanbase can be so intense with streamers and let's players

I like how self aware Hero mode is (along with Aryll's dress changing between runs). I throws so much shade at the beginning.
That's not Hero's mode! That's new game plus, Hero mode just turns off hearts appearing in foliage or pots or the sorts.
The art style is timeless. It will always look good. Link has so much expression in the game. Really one of the best in the series.
i put this on and immediately did something. I forgot this wasn't just windwaker music and got so scared by RT's voice.
