- Sight & Sound Theater's "Jesus" opens Saturday. We got the chance to go behind-the-scenes of a rehearsal and chat with the cast/crew. Opening day is completely sold out, but the show will run until the end of the year.
I saw the play Jesus this past weekend and was so overwhelmed by how excellent the entire production was. God bless this organization and everyone involved!
Just when you think Sight and Sound could not possibly do anything better than their last production - they amaze us with the realism, and relational dialog that grabs the heart and with big time energy level. Great job, you all amazed me once again.
I agree that this show is so fantastic ang realistic ever created. And it teach us more

These sets, these effects, man, Sight & Sound Theater are incredible!! As an atheist, who does not believe in the Christian faith, but has immense fascination with it and other religions, and theater, and musicals, I would love for them to come to Denmark and do their shows here...

I loved watching this show. I thank you for everything. KNow it would be nice to see these shows for free. Jesus gave His life for us. Do you think the whole world should see it for free. There are people that need to see this now. We are losing our children and your shows would help educate this generation of the truth and the reality of Who, God is. I pray you do Joseph soon. I would really love to work for the Lord with a future Bible story.

Ironically it took 3 years to depict 3 years of history in the life of the savior of the world.
I plan on seeing this play soon. My only upset is that I don’t see much diversity and maybe the role for Jesus could be someone of color or of Middle East

I think that Peter is the same actor who played Samson. The behind the curtain of Samson provides his name.

If Francis is right and several scenes from this show are wrong depictions, everything’s cool. But if not, there’s gonna be hell to pay.
How can there be a production titled, "Jesus" and it NOT include John 3:16-18? Yep, there was the scene where Nicodemus met Jesus at night, but for some weird, unbiblical reason 'Sight & Sound' made a conscious decision to omit Jesus' most famous (and possibly most important) quote from the scene. An abomination.

I watched it and I was amazed at the beautifully real Jesus they presented. Just because one verse is missing word by word (although it was alluded) are you saying the show is not glorifying God? Then in your logic, all the 3 Gospels EXCEPT John are missing the point and not Glorifying God. Let us be graceful and applaud Sight and Sight's amazing work. God is blessing their work. I have watched enough Jesus' movies and read enough about Him to recognize if this is self glorifying or not. They may make mistakes as all humans do. But I do honestly believe many people became born again through this presentation of the Gospel. Did you notice they didn't even receive standing ovations at the end?
Son of Man 333 I saw it again recently when they were streaming it for free, there was a lot of dialogue I had missed the first round. It was very well done.
